The air was crisp with the promise of dawn as Jake tightened his leather armor, preparing for the hunt. His eyes held a mix of worry and determination, the lines of tension etched into his face deepening as he turned to me. I stood in the doorway of our room, arms crossed, pretending to be calm. "You don’t have to do this alone," I said softly. Jake stepped closer, his presence grounding. "This is something I need to do. Jacob is my responsibility, Prisca. He’s done enough damage, and it’s time I put an end to it."

he growled as he stood up and began to shimmy out of his slacks. At this moment, I was finally free. I stood up and shoved him backwards, sending him flying into the lake. The water in the lake was cold and heavy, and since James was still drunk, he had trouble accessing his ability to swim. He flopped around, trying to keep his head above water, and I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy it. I saw him struggling in the water and stared at him with clear hatred. "You bitch!" he screamed out, gurgling at the water that started to fill his mouth as he spoke. "My father will hear about this, and you'll be FIRED! Do you hear me?! Fired!"

I said. "Good, James is his son who just finished from youth service last year and he has really been helpful to us ever since he came back, guess what? He always comes here every Sunday morning with his car, fill all our drones and cans with water and also drive us to church" my mum said excitedly as I smiled, mere looking at her, you'd know she adores this brother James a lot. "Wow mummy, he's really a good man then" I said while helping her to cutout the pumpkin leave with the stick.

Liam asked annoyingly, he was getting to the peak of his over bearing attitude. "Don't get mother wrong, Liam. You and James are our sons, since you can't get Amber, your second should so we won't loose her in our family" Jamie politely explain briefly wearing a small smile on his face. "Bro, can I go ahead?" James asks anxiously in an annoying tone, Liam smirks. "Since my junior brother care so much for my worthless belongings, I will be so kind to give it to him" Liam said vividly but his eyes were weak, James retaliated with a smirk.

Lily and Lacy gave him a sheepish apology. Lily handed her sister the journal, and they tried to hide their laughter. The older man just shook his head. "James, as much as I regret the manner in which you have met. This is my adopted daughter, Lily Nawassa," he said. He gave her another disapproving look. "Lily, this is James Lacrosse."

I just wanted to watch these tiny flowers grow forever. I decide to finish up and go back inside. It's about lunch, and I'm starving; I've spent all morning working on custom orders. I go up the back stairs and find James sitting at the counter with his head down, lying on his folded arms. "You doing OK there?" He looks a little upset. He lets out a big dramatic breath, "Yeah, I am fine. This heir training is getting old. I want to take a break." He had been working hard and had just turned 17 not long ago. Jason shut down his laptop and picked it up, looking around to see if he had left anything behind. At Aventura, back in the family house, the big condo, James had returned from Chicago after visiting the two businesses of which he was the CEO, according to his father's will. He was very happy about it and wanted to share his joy with his family.
