Jane I woke up to a knock on the door and I yawned, stretching in bed, wincing a little as pain ran up my body from in-between my legs. When I read this book, I felt as if I were Jane Eyre, a lonely, friendless orphan girl sent away to a cold, cruel boarding school where all the other girls despise her."

I couldn't get enough of it, and surprisingly, my eyes didn't wander about. I breathed in relief, knowing I wasn't staring at him again. But then again, why do I feel he's staring at me. I didn't raise my head, but the penetrating gaze on my skin couldn't be a mistake, right? Could it be I'm the weird one, huh?

Sunlight seeped into the grand room, illuminating the king sized bed where two bodies lay. The room was filled with the sounds of birds chirping and waves in the distance as the curtains swayed gently in the cool breeze that swept into the room. Jane stirred, her head throbbing with pain. She let out a quiet hiss from the pain in her head and the burn of the bright light when she opened her eyelids. Feeling a slight discomfort, Jane raised her hand to cover her eyes, but couldn’t because something was pining it down. Forcing her eyes open, she took in her surroundings and turned slightly, letting out a gasp.

Nothing could go wrong in reading a book, right? Her resolution didn't last for long because the contents of the first page made her close the book in shock and a blush painted her cheeks. She didn't expect to be greeted with such unrestrained way of describing the events. It was a rare sight to see Bellona being flustered as she was always so poised. All these was new to her. She took deep breaths and composed herself and opened the book, this time she tried to read each page, careful not to miss even the slightest detail. Because according to Jane, the book was important to her and it'd help her succeed.
