MARCELLA’S POV I turned abruptly towards to door, my heart beating loudly in my chest. ‘No. Theres no way, that cant be…’ I thought. My hands trembled and my palms became sweaty, I took a step back as the man got closer. “Hello! Wifey” Salvador said with a broad annoying smile. I was absolutely dumbfounded, fear stricken and in shock. I couldn’t decide my next words and Salvador was already at the table directly in front of me. He stood tall like a god that commands worship, his intimidating eyes pierced straight through mine. The smirk on his face left me totally confused, Was he angry? Was he pretending to be happy to meet me? What were his plans?

She wondered if he truly meant what he said or if he was just pulling her legs. Jared sighed. He pulled Lydia closer to himself and patted her hand. “You’ve dirtied your hand with this incident already, so you have to get it clean. Jack inquired in an uninterested voice, “you can’t just call me and start making a hell of a noise when I am in the middle of an emergency like this fad, what happened?” “Why are you not returning the girl to her mother? This is not what we planned. Before that bitch goes ahead to make a wave in the news, you should return her daughter now Jack” Salvador was almost losing his temper. As he took slow steps closer to Cordelia with a frown on his face, a young, handsome-looking man came out of nowhere and pulled Cordelia by the arm. “Hi, baby. I’m sorry I took time in the restroom.” The stranger uttered with a grin. Cordelia looked so confused, but as the smart girl she was, she figured out that he was trying to save her. So she didn’t push him away. This stranger was Jared Lambert, a twenty-five year old guy, the son of Sir Luther Lambert, leader of the East America drug cartel, and nephew to El Azul Lambert, the leader of the Colima drug cartel in Europe. El Azul had connections all over Europe and was given almost the same respect as the President.

Jade shut the door after Jacob left, biting her lip as she walked to the bathroom. She stared at her reflection in the mirror, tears falling from her eyes. She hated the person she was becoming - an irritable person with no interest in life who keeps pushing away everyone from her.
