Sawyer was pacing from one corner of the room to the other while I sat on the sofa near the window, watching him wander around. He finally stopped and grabbed his phone to call someone. It was a warrior he summoned to his bedroom. A few minutes later, a young man in his late twenties appeared before Sawyer. “Jared! I have a favor to ask of you,” I frowned, watching Sawyer sit down with Jared, keeping his head down. “Your Highness, you can ask for my life, and I won’t complain,” Jared replied softly and gratefully. “I heard you haven’t found your mate yet.
