Chapter 98 Author's POV “Scarlet, you had the guts to cheat on my son with this lowlife. I'm going to make sure that you are all dead. I've marked your faces; this is my town, and you are all foreigners. I'm going to end this.” Frederic growled after the fight was separated by the security personnel of the event. Jason's face was captured in the fight but Frederic's mask was still on, although some of it broke off when Baby slammed his head on his mouth.

Frowning, Freya pondered her motives for doing so. "What? Weren't you quite opinionated just now? Suddenly, you have no ideas. If you have ideas, speak up. Don't come up with all sorts of excuses when things are already settled. You can always find excuses if you're not good enough," Jason, who was reading documents, interjected sarcastically. Fred misunderstood Jason's question. Jason groaned with frustration. He still doesn't approve of Vasili, Dante and the others. But he is not planning to target them either. "Fred, there was a fight near that mall. I think your Boss and the others seems to be the targets. Caution them. I already sent the cops to check the situation there. They will be arrested if they were caught there. Go and warn them quickly" Jason muttered. Immediately the call went dead. Jason huffed with annoyance. If they got arrested, atleast that would make Fred leave that life behind. But he couldn't help himself. He cautioned them.

All this while, he had never stuck his nose in their business, but still, they just attacked his men, and now they might have been there for him. Freya just left the private room as she was so irritated by him and forgor about the fact that in her anger she left Travis alone, and her absence might have nullified the the spells and it would put his him in a grave danger. “Damn!” She cursed and ran away from there to see if Travis was still in the room, or had entered the mouth of those hungry hunters. “Woah, we finally met, Mr. Spencer.” Jason said it with a huge smirk on his face.

"Fred did, he changed me. But I'm ready to let go of all my hatred if you come with me" I shake my head. "Jason... " He puts his finger on my lips and shush me. "I'll give you time to think about it, il mio cuore" he turns to the door, he holds the knob and turn to me. "While you are thinking about it, tell Aubrey that her parents said hi" then he's out. I released a long breath. What is Jason's problem... Why is he seeking revenge... And what did Fred do to him. Maybe I should ask Fred about it...
