Tamara POV I stepped out from the bathroom and slowly walked around the guest room, admiring every bit of the interior in it. It really looks appealing. I got to where the shopping bag was lying on the bed, and I couldn't help the little smile that found its way across my face. That jackass… What was his name again? Jason! Yes, Jason. I heard that from one of his employees. He might be a jerk, But I think he really has a great sense of fashion.

"You're hurting my feelings," Luca pouted. "Hello?" Todd interrupted. "Get dressed and come downstairs before your father sees you and murders your alphas."

{THE THIRTEENTH FLOOR RULES} The box in my hands felt like it was made of lead. I couldn't move. I couldn't even blink. Jaxon Thorne didn't look surprised. He looked satisfied. He stood there with a wet towel draped over his shoulder, the water from his hair dripping onto his collarbone, tracing the hard, ridged lines of his chest. He looked like an Alpha king who had just found a new toy in his throne room.

They just lowered their torches and let him pass. I did not understand what was happening. My mind was still completely empty, shattered into a million pieces by the cruel letter Martha had sent me. I was dead inside. But my human skin was reacting to the intense, burning heat of Kaelen's body. I found myself subconsciously leaning closer to him, desperate to soak up the heat, even though I was completely terrified of him.
