He just chuckled and pressed his lips lightly against mine. When he pulled away, he stared at me softly with those captivating blue eyes. "I think that you're the best Batman there has ever been," he whispered. "But I have one question."

Joker chuckled, slapping him on the shoulder. “You don’t know that.” Kane scoffed, shaking his head. “I do know. Just like I know that Tabbitha only liked you for surface reasons. You look at her the same way too.” Joker sighed. “In what way?” He asked, finally looking at him. “As if she could never do any wrong.” Joker whispered. “You don’t judge her for the things she’s done…”

Joker then took his hand and brought him over to me. "Blade this is my baby sis, Petal or Athena as the gang likes to call her." Joker said. "Or Goddess!" Dom yelled out as he walked up and put is arms around Margo. Decker followed him over and did the same to Nat. "This is Margo, her best friend and Nat her other best friend. That's Dom and Decker, their boyfriends." Joker continued after he rolled his eyes. "That's Thor and Sunny the Rebels leaders. You know Thrash." he gestured over to them.

If he tried to fight, he would only be putting his life at risk. Hence, Heath immediately bent his knees and knelt to the ground. “Sir, I’m sorry for being ignorant. I deserve to die.” Alex looked at Heath. “Oh? Why should you die?” Heath was stunned. He immediately started slapping himself. “Sir, Zendaya is a woman you’re interested in. I shouldn't have tried to come between the two of you. I deserve to die.” Alex didn’t speak. Heath continued to slap himself! “I shouldn’t have asked Leo Adams and my subordinates to disturb your meal, sir. I deserve to die. I even asked Mr. Kitagawa to fight you. I deserve to die,” Heath added.

“Jesus, it’s freezing. Come inside at least.” Jubilee followed him into the living room, the apartment cozy and warm. A bottle of beer sat on the coffee table, jazz music on in the background. She hesitated, not sure if she should sit down. Clutching her purse, she couldn’t help but notice that Heath wore a dark green sweater that made his eyes seem brighter. A five-o’clock shadow darkened his jaw, and his hair was long enough to curl against the neckline of his sweater. Heath was lean, but rangy. He wasn’t as big as Jubilee’s brothers, who were all too tall for their own overly inflated egos.

I roared, observing his hasty retreat, his movements a blur of desperation. That was the fourth warrior that I put down today. I hate to admit it, but whatever that healer did to me was f*cking amazing! My shoulder was injured in battle, and some feral rogue bit half of it off. It took me years to heal, and even then, it was only partially healed. I had some mobility and even less strength. Ordering the Healer to prove herself turned out to be a miracle gift. I returned home that day and went straight to the gym. I was utterly dumbfounded when I could lift three times the weight I could before. I felt better than I ever have. She has no idea what she has done for me. This will make my plans

,I quickly catch him and lift him to take back to bed. "What the fuck were you thinking you ass?",he sighs. "I fucking like hugs to you know and Heath needed hugs. I'm sick of being stuck in bed man and I want to go see Maya too",I cup his face and growl. He looks sad as I hug him and hold on tight. His injuries have long healed but the image of him coughing up blood and saying goodbye haunts me. He pats my back weakly and I just continue to hug him and not let go. Heath joins our hug and Barrett starts to cry and we let him. Poor guy went through a shit ton and he deserves to cry if he needs to.

Are you sure you can keep a woman like her satisfied? I mean, with a face and body like that, she must be.” Arun’s world stopped and Anjali saw it on his face but before the man could complete Arun’s fist slammed into the man’s jaw so hard that the guy staggered backwards
