I placed the bowl of soup back on the table with a bit more of a thud than was necessary. “Ah, you’re awake,” said Samson, walking back into the house carrying a lump of meat, and setting it down on the kitchen bench. “I could hear you arguing from outside.” Josh rolled back over to face Samson. “Thank you for helping me,” he said, looking around the room slowly. It seemed like it hurt him to turn his neck. “It wasn’t my idea,” Samson replied, and Josh wrinkled his brows. “His companion animal is a bear, he helped us,” I added. Josh looked even more confused. “I’ll explain all that later.”

Jackson POV Christian and I had been discussing some tactical changes on our teams and we wanted to run an idea by Josh. We all get settled in my office and Josh looks between Christian and I, “Did I do something wrong?” Josh asks. Shaking my head, “Quite the opposite. You have done a lot of things right,” I reply.

Xavier said. Josh and Bronson joined them in their activities over the next weeks. They both followed Thea around, unconsciously drawn to her. They were never outside of touching distance, though they never did touch her. They looked at her like she was the Holy Grail, and they weren’t worthy to touch her. Josh showed particular interest during the lore and brainstorming sessions. He asked lots of questions, getting caught up on the supernatural world he was now a part of and the war that was coming for them. “I want to serve you,” Josh said to Thea one afternoon.

Elder Gareth said. There was a mandatory ten minutes of silence as we stood with our heads bowed and I had to shut my eyes tightly to keep the tears from falling. I had known all three of them their entire lives and I felt Jesse as he moved next to me and placed his arm around my shoulder as the Elders placed the torches on their bodies to let them burn. “We’ll get through this eventually,” he whispered. “How?” I asked him. “I don’t know Lucas, I’m too broken at this point to even think beyond tonight,” he said.

He teased. “Fool! I was just curious.” She didn’t tell Goo that the guy had thrown him a meaningful look when he was talking to him. Goo waved at the guy who was already on his way to them. “Gunn, didn’t know you attend festivals?” They made a weird gestures clasping their hands together. By the way, Goo’s real name is Gunther. Hehe “Yeah, not fond of it but my minions are really into this one, right?” He turned to Aiko while raising his brows.

Nonetheless, she will persist for not only herself but also the child she carries; determined to give him the same upbringing full of love that she received Josh: He/Him: Hurt by his past, Josh fills his days with a passion and love for those around him. A silent lightning bolt struck through the center of the air. Josh’s breath hitched. Jagged glass sat in his throat. He could not push the weight. He could not push the truth away. It stayed. Heavy. Solid. Ruined. “Please let me go! Tristan! Everyone cannot know!” Josh yelled. His voice needed help. Reassurance. “No, stop!” Tristan replied. His arms curled into Josh’s chest. Josh was not able to escape. These were the hands of a bear. They were supposed to help him.

Josh Callahan, a new winger from Dallas who hit like a freight train. Josh was tall, broad-shouldered, with a cocky drawl that said Texas before he even opened his mouth. His hair was sandy blond, sticking up like he'd run a hand through it one too many times, and a faded tattoo ran down the inside of one forearm. He wore his confidence like armor, but there was an easy warmth to him too, the kind that made you want to follow him into a fight. Josh bumped his fist to Noah's shoulder. “Don’t worry, rookie. If Coach hasn’t run you into the ground yet, you’re doing fine.”

That in itself is a true Goddess gifted miracle. He has also excelled with the pack members. He works out with our warriors on a daily basis. He seems to have formed a special friendship with Greta’s oldest, our Beta heir, Sophia. They challenge each other in almost everything, and I can safely say, she has made him into a better, healthier human male. He is faster on his sprints, can run farther, he’s stronger, has better stamina and can spar with our mid-level warriors and come out victorious. Not only that though, but Josh has also made Sophia into a better Beta heir.
