I looked away, wincing back my tears. The took fell into a dreadful silence. Our hearts filled with disquiet. His presence in this room, just brought back the hurt I had been trying to hold back for days now. He wad ruining the peace I finally found. I couldn’t let him. “Get out. My parents also mentioned that once I returned home, they would throw me an extravagant birthday party to make it up to me. I couldn’t tell them. “I need my space,” I said faintly, my steps quick toward the door. I felt them following, so I shouted, “I WANT TO BE LEFT ALONE!” and slammed the door shut with the power of my mind, locking it. Diana could easily open it, but I hoped they understood. Asfar was shouting in my head, but I blocked her too. I ran to the garden. I needed space. I needed peace. I needed solitude.
