Anderson slowly walked towards them. His footsteps felt as heavy as his heart. Anderson fell to his knees in front of them. “I’m so sorry. I’m so sorry”. There was nothing more he could say. Even if he did, they would not be able to hear him. Anderson wanted to scream but stayed silent. There were too many emotions coursing through him for him to even be able to differentiate any of them. What he did feel the most, however, was his rage.
