Bile rose in my throat thinking it was probably the fur of a spirit animal he wore and wondered how he could be so vile as a shifter himself to wear it. “Oh, little miss Swift.” The vile werebear chuckles showing me his mouthful of rotting teeth. “It seems you stole from the wrong Bear this time.” He glares right at me, his skin a pale pink with darker pink swirls peeking out from under his clothes and trailing up his neck to the base of his skull behind his ears. Much like the marks on Jonda and of the headless body at Miko’s. I didn’t know Garrison personally, but I knew of him, and it seems he knew of me too.

After knowing the truth and lies behind their eyes, my wolf underwent further investigation - meddling in their personal lives and I found out the ability was not simply a coincidence but a gift, which I believe comes from the moon goddess. So, out of curiosity, I applied the ability to our ruthless, manipulative, and cold-hearted alpha. It so happens that I managed to read about one of the heinous crimes he did to get the alpha position. And as far as I could remember, I only confessed to three wolves about his crime. To my parents and my fated mate, Malia. "Wait... What about Mapa and Papa?" my conscience started to feel the rising tide of fear from my head to toe while staring Randolph in

” I asked, making sure to remain bigger and more in control than the she-Bear, even though a part of me still wanted to avert my eyes when I looked at her. Things were getting more and more interesting. Or fucked. The Bear wagged her tail, and her ass went up in the air before she darted farther into the trees. I quickly shifted and caught her scent. She smelled like the forest after a storm, crisp and alluring. With a forced shake, I pushed away the building attraction and continued our chase. Elena’s Bear was faster than I’d expected for her first shift. She was agile and strong, which allowed for her to jump over fallen trees and a creek that I would have expected a new wolf to be afraid

"Everyone, please, let's not jump to conclusions. Kate is an experienced guide. I trust her professionalism completely. There must be some misunderstanding here." Bonnie picked up the water cup beside her bed and hurled it to the ground with a furious crash. "Misunderstanding? We nearly died out there, and you're calling it a misunderstanding? Are our lives worth so little to you?" I scoffed, finally breaking my silence. "I followed protocol to the letter. It was you two who ignored my warnings and acted recklessly, leading to the bear's attack." "Liar!" Damon spat. "You deliberately lured us into the bear's territory. You wanted this to happen."

"I- I don't know, my uncle was giving me a ride one day and It came in. He had no other choice but to carry me with me to the crime scene. "And what did you see? " "A man... His throat was completely bitten out, my uncle is saying it's a bear, but it was one of them, I know it," "Sounds like something straight of a comic book," "Maybe... Once you remember, it won't be as amusing, terrible if you lost someone," he slowed down, and I finally caught up to him, at the point, my head was spinning, and I was dizzy, "Hey," he held on to my shoulders as I staggered sideways,

“Bears are naturally known for their tempers and my father was incredibly temperament*l. The smallest things would set him off. Living at home was like walking on eggshells. I could never do anything right by him. I would go to school with bruises that just wouldn’t heal.” “Because bears don’t have a quick healing ability like wolves do?” I asked. There wasn’t much I knew about bears; in fact, Rachel was the first bear shifter that I knew. There were a bunch of bears that went to our school, and they would be referred to as the weaker of the species. “Right,” she answered. “So, my bruises and cuts would be very visible despite how hard I tried to cover them up. I turned to drugs and alcohol

Mama bear was pawing the ground and Nathan noticed Katia setting the child on the ground next to her. “No Katia, don’t do it.” Nathan whispered to himself. Knowing what was about to come and there would be nothing he could do but try to get to them in time. Katia whispered something in the boy’s ear and the bear was running towards them. Katia leaped forwards, shifting into her wolf midair, which was not something everyone could do. This was the first time Nathan had ever seen her wolf, and he was now terrified the bear would kill them. The little black ball of fur, that was Katia’s wolf, was ferocious in her protection of the boy. She was not trying to maim the mama bear but to make her und

I hadn't even finished a whole row yet. Some stuff is repeated but this book is by far my favorite. It's solely about bear shifters. Bear shifters are the most loyal type of shifter. They would lay down their lives for the ones they are to protect without a single thought. Thats terrifying. I don't want Dom to die because I might. Even though he would probably fight me on it.

Her hands still shook the entire time, and she watched the spot, almost expecting the boy to move the floorboard and climb out. This was worse than expecting a ghost to be behind her, ready to eat her. Had she seen what she thought she saw? Was that real? Who sleeps with a wild bear cub? Where were they? She didn’t know what to do. Should she tell someone? Or would that get her in more trouble with Aunt Esme and her parents?

Under her breath she utters, "We will not let them harm you." Eliana bites her lip and watches as Jasper and Conrad both halt in front of the two bears. Once the assassins stand up on their hind legs, they tower over both men. "Is Jasper going to be alright?" Eliana whimpers to herself. She swallows, her mind racing. "Why do I care? He is a complete stranger." "What brings you onto our land once again, sir." Conrad's voice is deep and strong. One of the bears snarls, "We want the girl. We told you before, did we not? That woman has committed crimes against the Climont nation."
