~Kara's POV~ "Is this really necessary?." I asked adjusting my tie in front of the dressing mirror. "Yes, I mean it's what your Dad would have wanted, besides you have a scholarship so why joepardize that huh?." Nana replied and asked while arranging my bag for me. "Speaking of the scholarship, any ideas where that came from." I said facing her now fully dressed and ready. "Wow you look ... Feminine in that uniform and your tattoo spices the look." She said as her eyes went wide, looking me up and down.

With a final glance at the apartment, I hurriedly left. Arriving at the restaurant, I found Katy already waiting for me. She was a vision of vibrant energy, exuding warmth and confidence. Her outfit reflected her lively personality, as she donned a flowing summer dress adorned with vibrant floral patterns. The colors seemed to dance in harmony with her every movement, capturing the essence of her cheerful spirit. Her long, wavy hair cascaded down her shoulders, adding a touch of elegance to her overall look.

"You're obviously new here, interesting things rarely happen here, so ehn they do happen, they trend for a long time. Don't worry about it though, you were bound to be an hot topic." "Maybe we need to get you some trousers as well, that way I'm not the only odd one." "I already told you, women here don't_" Katrina starts, but gets interrupted by Sarah. "Don't wear trousers right?" She finishes. Sarah holds Katrina's arm to stop her and says. "Look me in the eye and tell me you really don't want to dress like this." Katrina does what she's told and says, "I really don't want to," Sarah gives her a look that silences her. "Fiiine, I want to dress like this," Katrina grunts.

Kenneth put on his gray leather knee-length coat, tossing around his neck his red and black scarf. Kita hurried and gathered her outfit from the closet, she picked out a black thigh length leather circle skirt, with a pair of sheer off black dotted pantyhose. With a maroon tight cashmere short sleeve sweater, with a dark pair of maroon leather elbow length gloves, and dark maroon ankle high heel booties.

Her voice emerged rough and cracked from disuse. She touched the sleeve again and again. Then narrowed her eyes suspiciously at the garment as though it had personally offended her. Someone had changed her, undressed her, and had put her in this ridiculous thing. Immediate outrage followed. Kaelara had spent most of her life in trousers, training gear, armor, and practical clothing designed for movement and combat. Dresses were reserved for diplomatic events she couldn't escape and ceremonies she actively avoided. This thing looked delicate enough to tear if she glared at it too hard.

“What is it?” “Something fitting for a festival by the water…” Klaus said, stepping forward and unfurling the outfit. It was breathtaking a flowing sarong in shades of turquoise and gold paired with a bikini top adorned with intricate beadwork. The ensemble was light, breezy and undeniably bold. It is everything powerful and elegant and just so supernatural. I mean, we all are right? “Am I supposed to look like a sea goddess or something?” I teased holding up the pretty sarong.

I fixed the cuff of my suit as I headed towards the door. I half expected Katrina to be there when I arrived, but I was disappointed to find that she wasn’t. I knew she had other plans, but still, a part of me always longed to see her. I was able to spot Kember pretty quickly towards the back bar, and I headed her way. She was wearing a solid black romper with some bronze accents and black six inch heels. The outfit honestly looked great on her.

Kat replied surprisingly and took her leave. She got off work earlier and rushed home to find what to wear. Levi would come pick her up by seven and she wouldn't want to keep him waiting. Kat stood in front of her mirror, adjusting the straps of her emerald-green dress. The silky fabric hugged her figure perfectly, accentuating her curves without being over the top. Her hair was pinned in a loose bun, with a few strands framing her face. She hesitated, feeling overdressed, then shrugged. It was a company party; better to be overdressed than underdressed. Her makeup was soft but striking, with just enough shimmer to make her features pop.

She asks again. Kaden nods, as dumbstruck as I was, and stares, stock still as she continues with her usual morning chores. Katerina's beautiful brown locks up in a butterfly clip, wearing a pair of tight fitting black jeans and a short country girl flowery dress. She looks incredible. Kaden and I just stand there in amazement, and watch the scene play out. "Come on then you two, can you give us some privacy?". Douglas and Derrick excused us.

The Karat kingdom did not look particularly different at first glance. It was the same stone roads and bungalow houses just like in the capital that Elaina had grown used to. But the rhythm of the place was still unfamiliar, unrecognizable faces moved around freely. They decided to buy some new clothes at a modest tailor’s stall near the market square to blend in properly. The most common oufit was a long garment in plain brown or grey. Drake traded his darker leathers for a plain tunic and cloak that concealed his build. Elaina chose a long-sleeved dress layered with a fitted vest, practical but common enough to avoid attention. Sachin blended in easily like he always did.
