My scream filled the room. "Elena, enough," the Adrian on-screen said. "Selena planned this for my birthday. Don't ruin it because you can't stand seeing her happy." Kate’s POV I decided to follow the press conference, so I logged in, luckily Dr Amanda has ended her shift, so she decided to join me. You must’ve pulled some tricks to fool that Lycan prince.” In the dim light, Robert’s face looked more twisted than ever, his handsome features distorted by the shadows. Dressed in a long black coat, he looked like some kind of demon straight out of hell. Everything about him screamed danger.

Never let dogs smell fear! The hungry look on these men’s faces as their eyes run over my practically naked body makes it obvious that they smell my fear, and they fucking love it. I look around the room, thinking that I’ve never seen so much leather, facial hair, and tattoos in such a small space. I try to find a friendly face, but they’re all looking at me like they want to bend me over the nearest table and fuck the living hell out of me.

Her heart thudded in her chest and she knew by the cruel smiles on their faces that they could hear it. Pride stifled fear, and Katherine forced her face into a cold but neutral expression. She slowly turned back around to face Convel. "So, what? You're just going to off me now So you can take over the world? And what kind of a cliché comic book villain are you anyway?" Katherine asked, allowing her sarcastic nature to take over. She needed something to keep her head cool if she was going to get out of this still breathing. Surely by now someone would have noticed that she was missing.
