Although the person's face was blurry, his physique was evident. “Did you dump me?” She asked her voice above whispers. Arthur was now confused. “What?” “I just had a memory flash and I saw myself crying and it seemed as if I was dumped, rejected or betrayed,” she explained. “A memory flash? What does that mean?” Arthur asked. “It means when I remember something from the past. Sometimes it comes with a sharp pain while sometimes it doesn't,” she explained and he nodded. He got up and walked to his closet, picking out something and got back to his seat. Khloe watched him curiously.

Because of his sudden action, the two stopped and glanced at him, sensing him. "What happened? Are you okay, Kai?" The two asked with a worried look. Kai didn't get a chance to answer since his memories from what lies ahead started to appear through his sight. Flashback... 7 years ago. There was a boy who is walking home from hunting animals. After he saw their hometown in the middle of the gigantic forest, his knees weakened, so he kneeled with his jaw dropped. "G-Grandpa... Mother... Father..." Kai stuttered as his tears started to overflow in his eyes through his face.

Dizziness swarmed my vision, threatening to knock me back unconscious. As I fought myself to stay awake, my subconscious took over and showed me what I kept locked deep down, it showed me the little kid I cared about more than anything in the world. It showed me a part of myself that I kept away, the part he always believed in. The part of me, he thought can be saved. **FLASHBACK**

He couldn't make out what the feeling was at first. But then he found out that was the time he started liking her. And the flashback ends…

All eyes were on me as I relaxed back onto the bed, with my focus still on Leo. "I don't understand. What do you mean he disappeared? Is this a joke? Kael would never just leave..." I started to speak, but then a vivid flashback took over my mind. The image I saw was no longer Kael; it was something grotesque, an abomination. His face was unrecognizable compared to my own child, the one I was desperately searching for now.

The flashback stopped but my heart did stop racing. “That was very weird. Alpha Keegan had said I was found on the ground of the pack garden but if I was unconscious, how did I have a vivid memory of that just now but didn’t have any memory of it when Alpha Keegan had asked earlier?” It made no sense and it made fear kick in me. “Hey!” Casper’s voice made a smile appear on my lips again and wash away my fear.
