Even though I pretend to be annoyed, I secretly love the attention. The air in my room was bubbly. Draped in a silky robe, watched in the mirror as the makeup artist, Maya, expertly applied foundation, blending it seamlessly into my skin. "So, Kimberly" Maya chirped, her voice as bubbly as the pink eyeshadow she was working on, "tell me about your dream prom look." "Think classic Hollywood glamor," I replied, picturing "Madison Beer's" elegance. "Soft, smoky eyes, a touch of blush, and maybe a bold red lip?"

It’s currently seven, Kylie and I are getting ready. She picked out the most revealing and uncomfortable outfit I have ever laid eyes on for myself. Since my face wasn't going to fully show, the color of lipstick was more prominent, my eyes were colored perfectly. After applying the makeup, my hair came next. It was a simple styling that didn't take long. My makeup artist took care of that as well; she already knew how other models would look and she glammed me up for perfection. Once that was done, I slipped into the beautiful dress and wore the heels that were perfectly my size. "Can I come in?"Jones asked while knocking on the door. "Yes," I replied. "Wow, you look beautiful." Jones smiled as he walked in.

Two rows of black-suited men and women entered the room, each holding boxes and satchels of all sizes in their hands. They looked very professional, the boxes contained everything a makeup artist should have, from the best professional stage makeup products, to even mirrors and special lighting equipment. Chloe was shocked by the sudden entrance of these men and women. Then she gasped, “It’s Kelly!” Kelly was a world-renowned makeup artist, with clientele ranging from the hottest celebrities to the richest socialites. But Kelly was known for her quirky personality and odd taste, not many had the honor of naming her as their makeup artist.

Leesa thought maybe she should make up a word for her, something like “Calilicious.” Cali’s shoulder length dark hair was freshly colored with burgundy highlights that matched a port wine stain on her cheek shaped like the state of California. She asked me. “Yes! If you could do that, it would make things go much faster.” Kelly smiled at me and grabbed the blow dryer. I didn’t want to go too heavy with my makeup. I focused on a pretty contoured foundation. I went for a soft smokey eye, not too dark. I applied eyeliner, then my fake lashes. I finished off my eyes with lots of mascara. I put some blush on my cheeks. The last thing is to do my lip makeup. I lined my lips with a raspberry shade liner. I applied one lip shade then another. The two combined in certain areas of my lips created a beautiful raspberry contoured lip. Kelly was done blow drying my hair. “How do you want it styled?” Kelly asked.

Her hair is freshly dyed in her favorite shade of blue again, and her baby blue satin dress looks so fabulous with diamonds around her neck. I have never seen Kelly being so feminine like this. Ever since I saw her, she has just been wearing her black leather jacket and jeans, and her blue-dyed hair was always pulled up in a ponytail. She also wears a lot of dark makeup at that time. But now, she looks so different, so fresh in the eyes and she is a hundred times better without her dark makeup.

In the end, I gave up on asking who the mysterious celebrities are and just let Kaila do her magic on my face. My makeup really didn't take a while though because Kaila works really fast. And you can rest assure that her works are still professional looking: perfect brows, defines cheek, pinky lips, and natural smokey eyes look with winged liner and full lashes. So after half an hour, I was already ready.
