Ariel called, tearing his gaze from the book. He sighed as he walked towards me, handing me the book. “I don't know how it got here.” He sighed, “It must have taken her.” The book of illusions. It was one of the things bound by the council and locked in the holy room where all malicious, evil and banned things were kept. The book was a gateway to the floweries land. The floweries were creatures that were formed after the end of any war back then. A realm was formed in which they were stucked in and couldn't come to earth.

Does it maintain its form when we place our hands on the outline of its shape? I looked at the kelpie, who was still studying us with its glowing green and blue gaze. I observed how its shape was formed by the mystical radiating light that created its outline. The details were so clear that you could even see its muscles. It looked so majestic and strong that its mane looked like glowing blue and green flames in the water. The creature wasn’t just beautiful. It was magnificent! ‘Can you try talking to it?’ Byron asked in curiosity.

Elise fell asleep with the Book of Gates in her hands. Kent stirred from his sleep and woke up because of a bad dream. In his dream, he saw around five serpents that crawled so fast to strike Elise from behind. She was calling for his help. He tried to intervene by cutting them with his invisible sword. However, they were as hard like diamonds that even his powerful invisible sword could not even scratch them. He was also running for his life when the serpents turned to him and one of them was about to strike him in his back… that was when he woke up.

"Kelpies. Those are tricky little creatures. You have to be careful if you ever see one, Cece." my mother says, as she brushes a curl from my face, and gives me a kiss on my temple. "Do we have any here, Mama?" I ask her, and she chuckles. "No, your father made sure that kelpies would never enter this land. But that's not the case in all places you'll visit when you grow up. The selkie had mentioned that water creatures could enter through an underground spring that connected the lake outside to the Land of Magic within the barrier.

Elves effortlessly killed the vampires as a shimmering cloud raced toward the new army. “The fairies?” I asked, unable to peel my eyes away. Ivan grunted in approval. “Nasty little buggers when they want to be. Wouldn’t want to be on the receiving end of that fairy dust.” As if on cue, a vampire screeched in agony as glittering powder coated his skin, blistering and burning on contact. I winced, almost feeling sorry for the leech. Almost. I gasped as I watched a kelpie jump from a pool of water. It reared up on his hind legs before bringing his hooves down on a vampire’s skull with a sickening crunch. “Remind me never to piss off the horse-people.”
