I got even more excited. As I got closer, a guard came out of the hut at the side of the gate. He was wearing an official-looking uniform, and his name tag read Kevin. Kevin’s reply was short and to the point: “I’ll be at Gale-Force Training Gym for the next few days. You can come over anytime. Remember to bring proper workout gear.” After picking up our supplies, Kairo and I immediately drove to Gale-Force Training Gym. We entered the gym to find it filled with a wide variety of neatly arranged equipment. We changed into our workout clothes. I braided my long hair into a secure fishtail. Just as I was about to message Brother Evan’s army buddy, a tall figure started walking toward us. It was almost noon, and dazzling sunlight streamed into the gym. Kevin Keane stood in a halo of light, dressed in simple workout clothes.

I had to admit that when my black-streaked, silver hair was braided, it did look incredible. Gathering his courage, he made his way into Bradley's hospital room. Bradley sat on the bed, his white hair tousled, his face carrying an inexplicable sadness. "Kevin, have my test results come out?" Kevin gestured gently toward Bradley's hair, saying, "Bradley, your hair looks quite nice today." Bradley grabbed a pillow and threw it at Kevin. "Cut the nonsense. What's wrong with me?"
