Kim explains and my mind went to the sound I heard from the video that was sent to me, so he is a boy. "Really?" I scoffed. "I promise I didn't know it was an illegal surgery, just the way I didn't know both you and Xavier were in danger," Kim tried to explain, I wondered what gibberish she was speaking. "You set the place on fire and you shot Xavier," I glared at her as my voice broke. Does she think she is talking to a child?

“Mom, I received a call from Mama. She wants me to visit her this weekend.” Dominic smacked his forehead. “Oh, I forgot to inform you. Kimberly had called. It’s her son’s birthday, and she wants Diego to stay overnight at her place.” I smiled and nodded to the two of them. “Fine. What are you giving Kenny?” I was glad that Kimberly could heal Thomas in these nine months. She had tried every therapy in the world to get him cancer-free. Last month, they adopted a three-year-old boy, Kenneth. Kimberly wanted to make up with Diego and be a part of his life, too.

"I swear I'll pay you back, Kane. Just—just help me out this time." The request lingered between them. Kane was a lot of things, but he wasn't heartless. He knew what this world did to people. Finally, he sighed. "I'll send you some money. Drop your details don't bother paying back ." Relief flooded Spade's features. "Fuck, man. Thank you. I won't forget this." Kane clapped a hand on his back. "Work smart, kid. Don't let this place swallow you up."

His eyes flicked between the two of them, already feeling the tension buzzing in the room. “Sir,” he began hesitantly. Jeremiah narrowed his eyes. Andrew cleared his throat and continued. “The man Kimberly was with… the one she kissed? He’s her cousin. Luke something. He’s gay. Very gay. Has a boyfriend named Cody and everything.” Kimberly let out a sarcastic laugh, arms folded tightly. “Told you.” Jeremiah didn’t react. Not even a flinch. He just stood there, face stone cold, staring past both of them like he wasn’t even in the room anymore.

She looked up as they approached, her expression softening with a shy smile as she saw Dazzle’s brother. “Big bro, this is Kimberly,” Dazzle said, introducing his wife with a bit of hesitation in his voice, though he masked it with a grin. “Kim, meet Richie. He’s my elder brother.” Kimberly stood up and extended her hand. “It’s so nice to finally meet you, Richie. I’ve heard so much about you.” Richie shook her hand warmly. “Likewise, Kimberly. Welcome to the family. We’re a crazy bunch, but I’m sure you’ll fit right in.”

The guns fell from Kyle's hands and landed at the feet of the Tifex. Aiden used his smallest finger to send ice spiralling towards Kyle, freezing him in that position. I wanted Greyson dead for what he'd done to Kimberly. For trying to kill her. He'd gone too far this time. He needed to pay for what he'd done and the crimes he'd committed.
