The Luna of Rain
I said coolly, making my frustration known.
“That was a while ago,” he said, waving off my words. “Kimberly has really matured since then and would make an excellent Luna to this pack. She has a strong wolf and could fight alongside you in battle.”
“I’m not sure if you’ve heard, Elder Byron, but there’s been talk around the pack about her being defeated by a wolf-less girl.”
I could always count on Elder Brooks to come to my defense.
Byron’s blue eyes, the same shade as Kimberly’s, flashed in anger at the other Elder. “Kimberly’s wolf went easy on her, a mistake she will not make again.”
