King 2 Hearts Novels & Stories

King Tomas was also getting thirsty by the smell of the sweetness in the air, but being as old as he was, he had restraint. He smelt the girl's fear, and he detected her tiny heartbeat fading, so the king had no other choice but to extend his talons and in a swift move, he sunk his palm through Kingston's back and tore his heart out. Now that the vampire was dead, for good, his fangs automatically retreated into the gums. His lifeless body tumbled to the ground, but the king wasn't concerned about that. He realized the girl was seconds away from collapsing to the floor as well since she no longer hand Kingston to lean on. The king quickly dropped the heart he just pulled out of Kingston's ch

"There's three hundred thousand on this card. No PIN needed. Two hundred thousand to pay you back, and another hundred thousand for interest. For the last decade." I paused, then added, "Thank you. When I found out, I was really touched." Finally reacting, Jessica hurriedly waved her hands in protest. "No, you don't have to. Just think of it as…" I cut her off, "Debts need to be repaid. As for my gratitude? If you ever need me, I'll do whatever it takes to help." I pushed the card into her hand before she could object again. Jessica pursed her lips as she held the card helplessly, then said hoarsely, "Seb, we…"

“I’ve never heard that once before. Does such a thing exist?” “It’s a relic. Just like the Moonlight Mirror,” Rey answered; his face looked bright, like Killian’s suggestion was the best idea we could do or have. “The Moon Heart is the late Queen Luna’s relic and has been hidden in one of the Royal Chambers. The good thing is, you and your husband can open the chamber using your blood. An Alpha mixed with someone who came from the royal bloodline.” “Then we must go,” Dominic said, looking at me with eagerness in his tone as he faced me. He was so close that he towered over me, and as he pulled me by my chin with his thumb, he asked me to stare into his eyes.

For a fraction of a second, his silver eyes turned pitch-black before snapping back to silver. The First King lunged blindly for the key, but Lyra recoiled out of reach, his fingers catching nothing but empty air. "You don't understand!" the king roared over the din. "If that heart enters the throne, it will recognize the bloodline!" "And then?" "It will open for him!" "For Cael?" The king's face twisted in horror. "No." He pointed a shaking finger at the child. "For him."

And I know that I am standing in front of two hundred people with my hands still shaking inside my clutch, and I cannot let anyone see that. He reaches me. He stops. Under the ceiling lights, with the crystal elements throwing fractured rainbows across his jacket, Liam Hart lifts the Heart of the Kingdom and places it around my neck. The weight of it settles against my collarbone — heavy, warm, forty carats of ruby and a hundred and fifty diamonds catching every angle of light in the room. It feels like something alive. Like something that has its own gravity. "My love," he says quietly, loud enough for the front rows but pitched for me, "I'm sorry. I wanted to surprise you. I didn't expect

A man stood up after her, walking and taking her place as I walked back to sit down, my heart drumming not believing the love all these people had for their king. "Your majesties, my name is Gregory, the king's second in command, the first vampire he turned, following him to the burning fires even in death. Glenda has said it all and I am not good with speeches, so, as much as we hold so much hate for the werewolves, for the king's sake we will take her majesty as our own to protect and respect until his majesty says otherwise. With that, I give the majesties this gift which is the heart of the last dinosaur coated in layers and layers of gold, said to bring good luck." He said walking up to

Then I tilted my chin, giving him better access as I whispered, "Theo, I won't run. If you don't believe me, just watch what I do. I'll erase Nathan from my heart and give it entirely to you." - The next morning, Theodore woke to find me gone. I had gone home to shower and change, but he didn't know and thought I'd regret what happened. His bodyguards called relentlessly. "Ms. York, please give Mr. Theodore a call. Tell him you didn't run away from him. He won't believe a single word from us. Please, we're begging you!" I couldn't help smiling. Here was the man the world feared, rumored to be running for the next Alpha King. Nothing could rattle him, yet he seemed insecure and anxious when i

I chuckled. “Yes, there's actually a room like that. But don't worry about it, it's guarded by Dante's men, and you won't make such a mistake.” She smiled at me. I felt bad for lying to her like that, but it wasn't like there was another way to get information out of her, was there? Progres. At least, I now knew The King of Hearts was hidden somewhere at the mansion… *** I strolled along the corridor, wondering how many doors there were in the mansion. I'd been walking since forever.

The red eyes remained hidden, watching patiently. "How do we close it?" Kael asked. The King turned toward him. "There is only one way." Before he could continue, the silver-eyed figure stepped forward. "No." The King's face hardened. "You know it is true." "There must be another way." "There is not." Rhydian looked between them. "I hate it when ancient people speak in half sentences." The King sighed. "The gate was sealed with two hearts." Kael frowned. "What does that mean?"

I try to scream, but my mouth doesn’t open, and nothing comes out. I watch his claws push into Aston’s chest. His eyes go big, and a tear rolls down his face. King turns to me and pulls his hand out with a gleam in his eyes. He stands up tall with his bloody hand in front of him. His fingers are closed around the heart of my mate, and the anguish I feel is overwhelming. He tosses the heart backward and saunters over to me.
