Rosa giggled, watching Alexander push the cake closer to her. It was a two-tier round, red velvet cake with silky buttercream filling. There were some pink frostings and had delicate looking sugar flowers, roses of course, cascading down one side. And then the final touch was a cake topper that read ‘Hot and Twenty - Four.’
Rosa beamed, staring at it. Hot and twenty - four, she liked that.
Alexander then raised a champagne glass, making a toast, “To Rosa, to the woman who lights up every room she walks into, and every corner of my heart,” Rosa blushed.
