Imbued with fire, it zips and darts agilely in the wake of the were ranks, dancing flames leaping from its nimble feet, multiple tails and flickering along its coat, finishing off any wounded vamps and cremating any remains with explosive bursts of licking flames.

Akio is really Yūri, and she’s the daughter of a Yakuza boss. My mind hadn’t considered that Kitsune was connected to Yūri. I didn't want to believe that possibility. Even though it would make sense that Kitsune is connected to a Yakuza, there’s only one in the state. The next day I was back at work banging my head into the metaphoric brick wall as I was getting nowhere closer to catching Kitsune.

He only had enough Reiteki to launch one attack, and he knew that if he missed, his life would be over. The kirin attacked Warren with a breath of fire, but the moment it missed Warren saw his chance. Warren knew it took the creature at least 5 seconds to reload before it could use fiery breath again. But during that 5-second range, the kirin strictly relied on its powerful hooves to attack Warren. Warren evaded the attack and poured all his Reiteki into his Reiteki sword and stabbed it through the kirin's heart. The moment the Reiteki sword connected, Warren was drained of all his strength and fell to the ground.

And I'm your help in Tokyo." "Jess didn't say her friend was a fox," Jeremy said.

Carrel spoke after Luka pressed the ‘complete task’ on his menu. A screen popped up in front of us and a list of items was displayed. Seeing one item listed, I quickly accepted the items and a baby kitsune appeared. I didn’t pay attention to the gold pieces we earned or anything else. My focus was solely on our new pet. It was the cutest little fox that I have ever seen. It was a bright magenta, similar to the color of the tips on my real hair. The Kitsune had black on its ears and tail as if it had been dipped in black paint. A little black heart was under its right eye.

He smiles at me and says, “It is a surprise, when we get there you will see, I am sure that you will love it.” I smile inwardly, he does not know he will not live to see tomorrow. I have been learning about Kitsunes and Nogitsunes and I discovered that they cannot be a fox and a wolf. They must be one or the other. I was planning on just taking his heart since he tried to play with mine but I decided that I wanted him to suffer.
