the woman called out anxiously. With a soft "meow," the kitten darted toward Sage. She bent down, gently picking up the fragile kitten. It was no more than a month old. It was weak, injured, and had a bleeding paw. Its fur bristled as it let out pitiful cries. "Finally! Will you give it to me, please?" The woman hurried over, reaching out to take the kitten from Sage. She soothed it while retrieving a luxurious silk scarf from her bag to bandage its injured paw.

She looked up at me in surprise and I smiled at her softly. "I couldn't let you hurt for longer than needed." I whispered and she hugged me suddenly. I smiled as she clung to me. I looked up to see Craig and Clay beaming at us. I glanced towards the pack and found them smiling as well. My family was proudly grinning at me. Colton spoke up as Luna released me. "I forgot to add that Kitty has graciously offered to heal any Humans that want to join. And by offer, I mean demanded." he teased and the crowd chuckled as I scowled at him playfully.

So she just stood there staring at him for a while. Silence. She smiled at the feeling of him against her hand. Cheyenne could tell Skylar enjoyed it just as much. She loved wolves. Skylar in this form didn’t scare her. She could get close to him without feeling like he would hurt her. Of course she knew Skylar the human wouldn’t hurt her but she trusted Skylar the wolf just as much.
