Klaus Mikaelson In The Books Romane & Geschichten

Micah took a steadying breath, bracing himself–he was about to face Melania again. The others gathered tightly around them, forming a protective circle as Laurie began the ritual. The air thickened with power, a low hum vibrating through the ground beneath their feet. Micah exhaled slowly, steadying himself. He was about to face Melania again. And this time, there was no room for hesitation. *** The spirit realm shimmered with a ghostly light, colors bleeding and blending like a dying sunset. Mason stepped into the haze, his body reacting instantly to the strange pressure in the air–thick with magic, history, and pain. Every heartbeat echoed louder than the last.

The sound of bone meeting bone. I waited. Patient. The doors exploded inward. Wood splintered, metal screamed, and they poured in like a flood wolves, eyes glowing, teeth bared, rage rolling off them in waves. And at the center Kael. Leading them. A traitor wrapped in borrowed authority. Beside him stood Mike. His scent hit me instantly, sour and familiar. I’d imagined his death more times than I could count. “Didn’t expect to see you alive,” Kael said, stepping forward with a grin that didn’t reach his eyes. “Welcome back, brother.”

I took it all in, giggling and happy. Klaus was standing beside me and he seemed just as pleased as I was. The only difference was that he wasn’t showing his emotions on his face. He still appeared stoic and nonchalant. One of Klaus’ soldiers held a limp Michael by his collar while he was made to watch his lifelong sweat go down the drain. He was quiet all through but his emotions were as bright as day. Tears streaked his face and his body trembled uncontrollably but he didn’t make a sound. He didn’t even gasp as his wealth- his office building and the adjoining warehouses- went down in flames.

My feet stumbled upon a stone, making me fall on the ground. Michael had a smile that was too wide to be normal. “This time, I’ll make sure you’re dead,” he said, his voice cold and devoid of emotions. Then, he raised his axe, aiming it for my chest. I screamed, jolting from my sleep.. A hand gripped my arm, drawing me closer. It was Klaus. He pulled me gently closer to his chest, wrapping his arms around my trembling shoulders. “Klaus, I saw them. They…they tried to kill me.”

Klaus left quietly, emitting a surprising aura of malice. "I'll make you pay, Mike Borin," Klaus said hoarsely, lifting his face, his golden pupils seeming to penetrate through the air where I floated. Instantly, familiar darkness engulfed me, and I lost consciousness once again.

Ullysarius replied, slightly baring her teeth. “But she is stable now?” Rex asked. “Paool has stabilised much of the unsettled magics coursing through the young fleshling, that one will keep an eye to ensure we do not detonate the weaves,” Ullysarius said, eyeing Rex suspiciously. “Call it intuition, but I get the feeling you may know who has allowed this dangerous flesh bomb into my midst.” “I was told it may have been someone called the ‘godking’,” Rex replied after a second. “I have been told he likes to experiment on live hosts to try and escape captivity.”

“Dad never told me any of this.” “Do you remember this?” Maddox ignored Cade and walked in front of me. “I…” My mouth opened a few times as I tried to place it. “I mean, I’m getting flickers, but no…” I looked at Piercy. “Everything Kyle commanded me to forget should have come back.” “Unless your wolf took the memories away because of how painful they were.” Isaac looked at us. “What could be more painful than what you already know?” “This.” Cade walked out from the hut holding a battery and jumper cables.

But even if he’d noticed them, Killian didn’t say anything. Killian was always good at not letting anything show. “Nice to see you too.” The moment Killian touched Mike’s skin, wrapping his fingers around his, all the memories flooded Mike’s head. His wolf was there too. Howling and moving from somewhere very deep inside Michael. Mike pulled his hand away. He couldn’t stay here. Mike had thought he’d never see Killian again. He had almost learned to live without him. He wasn’t going to go through all this pain again.

Chapter One Hundred and Twenty Six Kaida’s POV “Kaida?” a voice called softly. I lifted my hand and pointed into the darkness. A line of black smoke formed shapes that should not have existed. I saw wolves with too many limbs, maidens with hollow faces, a tall hooded figure whose eyes glowed even in the dark, men with unusual claws, and children whose heads were unusually big. I saw all of them. “Kaida!” I felt a hand on my body and it caused me to bat my eyelashes. I stopped looking right in front of me and realized the voice I had been hearing belonged to Alpha Kellan.

Not that he has any reason to," I reminded her. She shot me a face. For goodness' sake, Flinn—and I swear, I don't have any of that towards you—you are more shattered than Cal's hair was when she had that stage where she was getting it colored each week. And you've never had a permanent girlfriend. And you're literally, biblically man-whore-like. And the only feelings you ever manage to have are horniness and annoyance."".So really, I can totally see why he wouldn't be thrilled to see us together."Discuss a humbling experience.
