Liora snarled and struck again, faster this time, rage twisting her face. Korra ducked, sliding across the dirt, avoiding the hit by a breath. She popped to her feet lightly. Liora’s friends laughed mockingly. “What is she doing? Is she dancing or just scared!” Liora smirked. “Fight back, rogue.” Korra remained still, centered and calm. Her wolf was focused and in control, reading every breath Liora took. “Fine,” Liora hissed. “Then die tired.” She charged, aiming for Korra’s ribs. But Korra leapt, not backward, but forward at an angle that defied expectation, and slid beneath Liora’s swing. Her staff jabbed gently but effectively at Liora’s knee, and her knees buckled.

she said, and there was the faintest hint of complaint in her voice. Korran didn't answer with words. He just walked straight to her, closing the distance in a few long strides, and pulled her close. His scarred hands cupped her face, and he kissed her deeply, possessively, like he had been starving for it. A loud caw cut through the quiet moment. Both of them looked up to see a large black raven circling overhead, its wings spread wide against the moonlit sky. It dove down toward them, fast and graceful, and landed on Korran's shoulder with practiced ease. Its claws gripped the fabric of his hoodie, and it settled there like it belonged.

But Kaida sees it—the way his muscles tighten, the way his jaw clenches, the way he readies himself for whatever is about to come. Korra exhales, a slow, measured breath. Then— She growls. It’s low and sharp, barely controlled, the kind of sound that makes the hair on the back of your neck rise, the kind that speaks of old wounds, of hatred buried deep beneath the surface. Kaida moves immediately, stepping between them, her hands raised slightly. “Korra,” she says firmly. Her sister doesn’t even glance at her. Her eyes stay locked onto Octavius, her muscles still tensed, silver glow still burning. Oh no...

But her reflection smiled. “You’re weakening,” she whispered, though her lips didn’t move. The water rippled with her voice. “You can’t keep fighting what you are.” I stumbled backward, the sound of splashing water breaking the illusion. Edward was at my side instantly. “Kora?” “I saw her,” I whispered. “In the water. She’s closer than before.” Sylra knelt by the stream, examining the surface. “The veil is thinning. She’s breaching through reflections.”

Gunner growls, as I notice a hand on his wrist holding him back. I follow the arm and see Rick; he shakes his head. “She knows how to swim. She’ll be okay.” He says. Then his eyes widen as he looks behind me. Cora slowly glides into the water and next thing I know her head dips and she’s no longer visible. We all wait at the side of the lake, useless and stressed, as they remain submerged for far longer than they should be able to. Cora’s a Golden wolf, she should be able to help her, right?

The Earth opened up, and Cora dropped into it just as Aurora pulled the men from the water with a flick of her wrist. They panted and coughed up the hot liquid as I limped toward Cora as quickly as possible. We weren't equipped to battle a witch this strong, and I worried that we were only in the way. Still, I wasn't going to give up. Cora rose higher by the second until she was out of the crater Aurora had created. The dirt beneath her feet lifted her back up as she laughed.

Vera soon quickened her pace and reached him, and he promptly released the doorframe to prostrate himself, his voice cracking with tears, "Ms. Lavor… It's so good to see you again…" Vera reached out to hold him up, smiling. "It's been a century after all, Shohei. How have you been?" Korra broke down right then and wailed like a child. "I-I'm doing so well! Thanks to you… You're the reason I'm still alive, and I didn't think I'd see you again… How have you been all these years?" Vera smiled tenderly despite the pang of pain in her heart, and told him softly, "I'm fine, see? Still the same old me."

Some wolves rushed to help her, but she declined and sauntered straight to the empty seat that belongs to the Alpha and sat next to the one that was meant for her, the luna. "Get the luna a cup of water! She must be wearied and thirsty" Cohen yelled as Kira rushed around to do the bidding. None of them have recovered from the shock. "No! I'm fine" Even if Cora was very much thirsty, she rejected the offer as Creed's last words came to her. TRUST NO ONE "Are you sure, Cora?" Max asked. "I'm fine" she repeated as Kira who was halfway with the water, withdrew with it.

It wouldn’t hurt to just spend a little more time with her. A smile formed on my lips as I swung the door open. My eyes immediately caught sight of Korra—half-dressed. Her breasts perked up against her sexy lace bra. My jaw dropped to the floor as I froze in my tracks. "Oh my God!" Korra exclaimed, hurriedly grabbing her shirt to cover herself.

Kora said a little flustered. “My apologies Connor, Dakota.” Karson said motioning for the two young males to enter. “Kora, love, this is Alpha Connor and his brother and Beta, Dakota BlackPaw.” they both bowed in respect. “It’s my pleasure, please come in.” Kora waved them in. “This is our daughter in law and Kruz’s mate, Keane.” Kora said leading them to the living room. “Keane, sweetie, would you and our idiot son who also happens to be your mate, please bring our guests something to drink?”
