Lana said and she begins to glow really bright. I cover my eyes since the light is so blinding. When the light fades I slowly open my eyes to be taken by surprise. Lana now stands before me in human size with her beautiful wings gone but the same look as to when she is so tiny. Long wavy brownish hair with greenish highlights until her hips, greenish eyes, pinkish lips, dressed in a lovely greenish dress partnered with skinny caramel colored tights, and her feet are now covered in a brownish warm boats. Wrap around her hip is a belt leather bag. “You- You can do that? B-But how, I mean......”

After patiently waiting for a while, the guard returned with a beautiful young woman. The woman wore a pink dress and looked to be in her 20s. She had a slender figure and a dainty face. She exuded an innocent demeanor. The guard addressed her respectfully. “Ms. Lanathia, this man claims to be a direct disciple of the Ancestral Needle Master.” The woman was none other than Lana Callahan, the sixth sister among the Callahan daughters. The Callahans called her Lanathia. Outside, she went by the name Lana Callahan. As for her real name, she never revealed it to others.

I never imagined sparing that child would come back to bite me in the ass. Lana is stretched across one of the loungers when I step into the pool area, sunglasses covering her eyes and one arm resting above her head. She wears a black thin contraption females call a bikini, skin shining beneath the afternoon sun. If not for the tattoos covering half her body, one will believe she can’t hurt a fly. I drop into the lounge chair beside her, stretching my legs out in front of me as I stare at the water. For a few seconds, neither of us speaks, and I listen to the soft splash of the filtration system while trying to decide how to do this.

he murmured. “Aunt Lyric, Hanna is hugging the bathroom to herself and doesn’t want to come out! I have to pee!” Lana, the youngest of the triplets, exclaimed, dancing in place as if trying to hold it in. Her blonde ponytail bounced with each movement. They were all identical: same hair, same eye color, even the same voice, but I could spot their differences with just a glance.

I said as soon as I entered the small room that I was now spending most of my days in. Her smile was small and cautious, as if she was scared that I would attack her or something. "Hello, Luna. I just got here." She said and bowed gracefully. Was it normal that I was jealous of the way she bowed? She was even more petite than I am. I towered over her by a few inches, which, to be honest, made me feel good. Before now, I had only ever towered young girls. "I'm Lana, and I'll be teaching you to dance gracefully. Ballroom dancing, Salsa, Bongo, anything you want to learn. I'm here for you."

I swallowed hard, trying to keep my composure. “We’re… managing. The ceremony has kept me so busy. And you know not many people know about my return yet, so I still had to hide till the unveiling this evening. But then I still had my duties as Luna, they will not wait. Hah, it has been a riot.” I was rambling, trying to keep the anxiety from my voice and hoping that Calista wouldn't pick up on it. “I can imagine,” she said. “But do take it easy Lyra. Everything will be fine.”

Caleb gripped the steering wheel tightly. “Caleb?” Through clenched teeth, he said, “She was a redhead, Diana. He’s a red lupus garou looking for a mate. There must be a shortage of eligible females in the area.” Diana's throat felt parched as if she’d crossed the Badlands without a lick of water.

** After the third glass, Lana was dragged by her friends to the dance floor. Apparently, she was 6'5 ft tall with a curvaceous body which made it almost impossible for people not to sneak a glance at her. Her dark brown eyes, sparkled in the dimly lit room as her favorite song came up.

In front of me was Lana Christine. She was wearing a brown sweater and black jacket. Her hair was pinned up in a bun. She had the cutest round glasses that fit snug on her face... "I've been here before," I said. Lana's eyes were flickering in opposite directions. She was stiff, and it looked like something was holding her back. "Lana?" "R-r-r-remember," she roared and launched at me. Her body was ripping apart as dark blue water was hurled at me with lances and spikes.

Chapter One Hundred And Forty Six Lana sat in her room poring over designs sent to her by Mandy, on her laptops. Each scroll she made, had her heart jumping for joy as she slowly forgot the bitter experience she'd had earlier that day. She had been so frazzled after listening to the recordings, that she'd gone home and cried herself to sleep. That morning, she woke up to about fifteen missed calls from Mandy the day before. "Ma'am, we made it to the preliminary round for the Queen's Glamour And Festival Awards!" Mandy had squealed excitedly into her ear that morning when she called her back. The young women sounded very excited and Lana had immediately been affected by her joyful mood.
