Lessons In Chemistry Kindle Novels & Stories

Her sight remained on me though, but I couldn't hold her gaze. "Hmm, ok... Right, Nick you can sit next to Queen Dylan and share your text book, everyone turn to page 67, as we will be continuing our Introduction to Quantitative Chemistry, that we started last week." What? I hadn't studied at all while I was away with the king never mind actually starting a new topic that was clearly going to go completely over my head.

I ducked my head, embarrassed but proud. Clara leaned closer again, her breath tickling my ear. “You hear that? Brilliant mind. Guess I’ll have to borrow that brilliance for our lessons later.” “Chemistry lessons on the bed?” I teased softly. Her grin widened. “Best kind of practicals.” I coughed into my hand to hide my laugh, but my shoulders shook. The teacher gave me another sharp glance, but this time she didn’t comment, too busy explaining how hydrogen bonds affect the properties of water.

He sold these with his cousins, so of course he'd known them by heart. Teacher Enji seemed interested. “Oh? You sent them to the water?” Mac smiled. “No. We ship them from water to here,” he said, emphasizing the word 'water' and 'here's while pointing his index finger downward. Teacher Enji's eyes sparkled with amusement and he hummed. “Amazing. Early business. Good for you guys. So tell me, afte making all of those potions, what is chemistry to you?” Mac shrugged. "Honestly? Like cooking. It doesn’t feel different from cooking.”

--- He studied. The reading list was long and he was working through it in order, which his instructor had recommended and which he'd followed because her recommendations had a track record. The flavour chemistry was dense and required his full attention — the way molecules interacted, the way heat changed structure, the way a single degree of temperature could be the difference between something that worked and something that didn't. He took notes in a notebook he'd bought specifically for this purpose, a black Moleskine with a ribbon bookmark, and he wrote small and neat and legibly, the way his mother had taught him.

he asked as the students started murmuring not until a girl with weaved hair, stood up. "I know some of the courses but I cannot define any one of them", the girl stated as she continued fiddling with her hair and adjusting her dress. Does she think we are in a fashion parade', I thought as I turned to look at the mentor. "You can sit. I need a complete answer", the mentor said as the girl sat down embarrassed. I raised my hand as I was called, the stares from the other students almost piercing through my heart. ", We have Pharmaceutical Science, Pharmacognosy, Microbiology, Pharmacology and Pharmaceutical Chemistry. Pharmaceutical Chemistry deals with the study and properties of chemical su

he said, and with that Abigail rushed out the door. "Crazy b****!" Leah laughed. "Yeah... bet you 1000 bucks, she's gonna get yelled at," I said, chuckling. "Today's topic will be 'Laws of Thermochemistry," Mr. Burke announced. "I'm aware that every single one of you, is super excited to start this unit," he said extremely sarcastically. I chuckled under my breath. He could be so adorable sometimes! ••••••• Stepping into the cafeteria, Leah and I scanned the area for a proper seat.

She adjusted herself, as she brought out a small book from the pocket attached to her gown. Curiosity was no doubt in my mind, as I began to wonder what the book was all about. She opened my right hand, as she placed the book on it. My gaze flickered from the book to her, as she let out a sigh. “What is this, ma'am?” “It is a small diary containing everything that will help you win the heart of Ryan.” I felt my inside, suddenly having a fluttery feeling. Few tears dropped down my face, as I cleaned them with the back of my left palm. I was left astonished.

For some reason, he felt a little disappointed. A look of disappointment briefly appeared in his eyes as he looked down, but it was gone before anyone noticed. The first lesson was chemistry. The chemistry teacher was a middle-aged Mediterranean man who seemed popular among the students because he gave clear and detailed explanations despite being long-winded. Even so, Lynette and Leon weren't planning on paying attention. After school, the two of them walked along the road in school. There were tall trees on both sides of the road that blocked the scorching sun.

the teacher called, discreetly trying to tell him not to start acting out. As a response, the latter only smiled and sat back down on the chair. And that’s when the teacher decided to start her lesson for the day. “Alright, since everyone is here now and all chairs are filled, let me give an introduction to our first lesson this year,” she wrote the lesson title on the chalkboard before turning back to look at her students. “Chemical Bonding.” The students kept quiet because the topic is somehow new to many or even unfamiliar.

I just heard one of them say, “Control your bloody wolf, Kyler ! We are in a human uni dammit !!” Sigh ! They were so lucky to have wolves ! I just couldn’t shift to mine coz Zumi was ill. And no one seemed to know or tell me why !! Ughh. It was so damn frustrating. “So Ms Stone ! Kindly tell us all the types of chemical bonds that are present between atoms of various elements,” the Chemistry teacher asked. What the hell ?! This is like the third time that he is quizzing me on my very first day !! Is he someone I pissed off before ?
