Novel & Cerita Let Him Know

I ask “That’s fine with me, but I have to inform Der; I’ll call him up this evening, but if he doesn’t pick, I’ll inform him first thing tomorrow morning”; “Alright I totally understand; please keep me up to date so I can prepare for your visit, you could just text me whether or not you’ll be able to make it. Sorry about the late call, goodnight” I say “Goodnight”; the call comes to an end, I text Nek Taina: I have informed Nicole; she will get back to us

I lie, if he knows Spanish I bet if we started talking more he would say a few things not expecting me to understand "Oh, a girl that knows one sentence in another language. I like it," he says making me blush "Sorry, I just wanted to thank you for helping me yesterday, I guess fighting isn't very easy when you're extra scared," I laugh nervously "It's okay, ma. I'll help you out whenever you need it," he says "Sorry, I have school tomorrow, and I need to do my homework," I tell him preparing to end the call "I can help if you'd like," he offered politely

I told. “How long and why didn’t you tell me?” He tried to stay calm but I knew he was losing it. “A month ago,” I almost whispered. I knew he had asked me to inform him if I ever come across Jason and me being me, I didn’t. “I told…” “Yes, you told me to inform you if I come across him but I didn’t I’m sorry.” I cut him off and said apologetically. “Does he know?” He asked. “No. I don’t know. I tried.”

“Maybe… maybe it’s best if you prepare him. I may not remember him and if he loved me, like you say, I don’t want to hurt him anymore than he already has been. " She was right, if she pushed him away it might break him again. “OK. Give me your number, I’m gonna head over to his place and talk with him. Let him decide if he’s ready, does that sound ok?” She nodded, and she exchanged numbers. I left saying “No matter what Eden, Eve, it’s so good to see you.”

Do you know them? His response in six minutes, longer than usual, which meant he was looking them up: I know of them. Commercial advisory acquisitions. Why are they contacting you? That's what I'm trying to find out, I typed. Let me know what they say, he typed. A pause. Then: Mara. Be careful. I held the phone. I'm always careful, I typed. I know, he typed. That's not what I meant. I held the phone. I knew what he meant.

Before he asked, I said, "He doesn't know. None of them know. I'll let them know when the time is right. So please be discreet about it." "You have my word." "Thank you."

What in the world was he thinking? Giving me one last heated glare, he stormed off towards Scarlett. Okay? Did I just angered a pup?

I shook my head, rethinking the entire situation, "but go ahead and clean up, after we eat, I'll fill you in on every single detail." "Hmm, Alright." He didn't sound very convinced but he nodded anyways. His phone beeped in his pocket, an alert of a new notification. He stopped to scan through it and I watched his expression slowly drift from confusion to amusement and then to confusion once more. I didn't want to ask him what it was about so I wouldn't come off as rude but when he started vocalising his multiple 'what the hecks and what the fuck' I just had to come in.

“Don’t get yourself flung in jail now… I… I need you.” His brow softened, and his eyes shone a bit. He reached out and ran a finger lightly down the side of her face. “Don’t worry, I’ll be back. Let me know if anything happens.” And with that, he was gone.

"And bring him back." ***
