He walked back to the Don's building and met the Don having fun with his call bitch in the clan, Kristen. She grumbled in displeasure, but a look from the Don had her comported. She glared hatefully at Daniel before storming off with her dress in hand.

Then a low laugh carried across the water. Lila stepped into the light from the far end of the dock. She wore black leather from throat to boots. The whip hung coiled at her hip. Her hair was pulled into a severe ponytail. Her eyes looked almost black in the harsh light. “You came,” Lila said. Her voice carried clearly across the distance. “Alone. How disappointing. I expected more fight from Dean Breed’s pet.” Jenna kept her voice even. “I came for my family. Let them go and take me instead.”

“Lilah… you heard the bounty? We should team up. Watch each other’s backs. Split everything if we get her.” Lilah’s lips curved into a slow, icy smirk. She twirled her blade idly, the edge glinting. “No,” she said, voice smooth as poisoned honey. “I’ll bring her down alone. Her head belongs to me. Don’t get in my way.” She ended the call, the smirk lingering. This wasn’t just about the money. It was personal. Sweet, long-overdue payback. As the night stretched on, the Eclipse Breed girls moved with deadly purpose. Knives were honed. Alliances formed and fractured in the same breath.
