Not heat like her own power. This was… lateral. As if reality had been nudged from the side. The horizon bent. Just slightly. Then straightened. Then bent again — farther. The clouds did not part. They turned. Like pages in a book being flipped sideways. Lily did not call for guards. She did not move. Her pulse slowed instead of quickening. Because whatever this was— It was not heaven. They had a group decision to walk that day, therefore the driver was left behind to return home by himself. While Lily and Laura remained in the background, Hudson and Scarlett could be seen walking side by side. The two people walking at the front were having a conversation regarding events that took place in the class. After arriving at a crossroads, they stopped by the roadside to prepare to make their way across, but Lily lost her footing and fell to the ground. She was on the verge of standing, but there was an oncoming car traveling at a high rate of speed. Blood splashed all over Scarlett and Hudson's faces as the car sped over Lily's waist as she was being run over by the vehicle.

Jessy asked as she looked around her which was so different from his world. Several wolves came near Jessy. Roaring right in front of him, Jessy took the wood then used it as a shield from him. Creeds pov. Lily can’t peel her eyes away from her mothers spell book. She keeps grazing her fingers along the seams and sides, she keeps muttering words along the lines of, amazing, wow, huh, I can’t believe this… I myself can't believe it either, I have no idea what’s going on and how important this spell book really is. “Are you okay?” I ask Lily while placing my hand on her shoulder, she flinches slightly, startled because she was so caught up in her mind.

When she noticed us, she shifted her look calmly toward mine. Too calm. Far too calm for someone her age. I knelt on one knee beside her. “Lily.” She blinked slowly. “Garrick has Kael.” No reaction. “He wants to trade him.” Still nothing. Then her eyes drifted back toward the distant mountains. “The false bridge keeps breaking paths that should remain separate.” I felt a chill down my spine. Rohan exchanged a glance with me. “What does that mean?” I asked. “Please.” Lily was quiet for several seconds.

The five-year-old child wore a thick blue sweater. Lily climbed into her usual chair. She did not look at Freya. She opened her blue notebook and picked up her yellow pencil. "Good morning, Lily," Freya said warmly. Lily did not look up. She kept her dark eyes focused entirely on the blank white page. "I am leaving for New York this morning," Freya continued smoothly. "It was lovely to see your progress." Lily stopped moving her yellow pencil. The child looked up at the older woman. Her dark eyes were incredibly sharp and deeply serious.

Leaves crunched under their feet. The ground sloped upward. Steep and uneven. The police spread out. They brought out some devices, their screen lighting up. Red lines moved across them. Scanning as they moved. David’s men moved alongside them. Lily slowed her steps. She bent down, picked up a small stick. Then scratched against the bark of a tree. An “L.” She added a tail. Emily stopped a respectful distance away. “Hi.” Lily glanced up. “I’m Emily.” “This is Oliver.” Oliver waved enthusiastically. “Hello.” Lily returned the smallest wave. Emily smiled. “Do you like books?” Lily shrugged. “Sometimes.” “That’s enough.” Oliver looked confused. “It is?” Emily nodded confidently. “You don’t have to love books on the first day.” Lily’s lips almost formed a smile.

Lilly Thursday goes by with only a few minor mistakes such as dropping papers, stumbling into Mr. Storm’s business associate and such. What can I say? I am a clumsy person. None of them seems to be severe enough to earn me another punishment and I’m happy about that because my butt seriously hurt from yesterday's spanking.
