I just shook my head, kicked it into gear, and backed out right as they tried to box me in. Let’s play. I twisted the throttle, and the engine screamed. The cruisers’ PA systems crackled with demands to pull over, but their voices were drowned out by the roar of pure Italian horsepower. Not a chance. I popped the clutch, sending the front wheel skyward in a defiant salute before slamming it back down and gunning it.
