He took a bottle of transparent liquid and a little scissors like object, walked up to the monk and started pulling out his fingernails without wasting any time. “Ummm…um..um” the Monk's muffled groans filled the room and beads of sweat rolled down his face. The hunger for revenge devoured Logan's sanity. His eyes locked onto a vase on the table. Before he could think, he'd already swung it with full force into Joann's skull. "You murdered my daughter!" he screamed. "You don't deserve to breathe!" Blood burst from the wound as Joann collapsed to the floor, coughing up a mouthful of blood. She pleaded weakly, "Cough… Logan, I was wrong. Please… please let me go. Lily's gone... but we still have Gracie... I can give you a son... please..."

The robust goon stood staring down at us and he was giggling audibly. Logan regained his consciousness. He veered and stared at us. Blood from his head trickled to his ears. He patted his head and groaned. He was aghast seeing my blouse torn and my flat stomach and bust disclosed. He clamped his fists and gnashed his jaw. He glimpsed the goon licking my stomach and his tongue spanning towards my chest. He scrambled over to us and he hurled a hard kick at the goon. The goon tumbled off me. He tossed on the slope of the rooftop like a ball, he was out of control and he rolled off the edge plummeting in the air and he plopped to the ground.

Scott glared from behind Logan, he was so annoyed by the grinning face and shameless words from Mr Brown. Logan snarled “Roseline was my mother-in-law! She was Olive’s mom and that’s my business!” Maggie cut in sharply “But we all know that you don’t love Olive!” This made Logan widen his eyes as he gushed out “What?” His face twisted, and his eyes shrieked a little. His heart turned cold for a brief moment, his ears turned red. Wondering how come they knew! Mr Brown Anderson picked up from there as he said with a cheeky smile on his face “We know that you only got married to Olive because of the rumor of you being a supposed Gay!” His words came sharp, irking Logan.

The glass reflected his broad shoulders, his suit fitting him like armor. "I want everything! Roasted boar, spiced fowl, a thick steak... I can't decide!" I sounded like a pup, and I didn't care. Logan laughed, a rare, beautiful sound. "I’ll be there in thirty minutes. Don't start the hunt without me." Logan hung up, but he couldn't return to his scrolls. He’d heard the whispers earlier that Brooke had been replaced, and he’d been ready to level the building to fix it. Knowing she’d won on her own merit made his chest swell with a fierce, protective pride.
