Luna To My Alpha Best Friends

Luna To My Alpha Best Friends

Instead of buttons, a heavy brass lever jutted from the side, its surface worn from years of use. As Ryan pulled the lever, the chains groaned, shifting like an ancient beast awakening. The counterweights—massive slabs of stone—descended into the shadows below, dragging the platform upward. Torches flickered along the walls of the shaft, casting long shadows as the elevator rumbled toward the upper floors.

The CEO's Secret and Lies

The CEO's Secret and Lies

The elevator started moving down, and Rebecca could no longer see the bustling activities on the ground floor. Instead, the scenery faded to black. Rebecca gripped her sling bag tightly, not daring to move. John kept silent, knowing that this wasn’t the time for small talk. In a matter of seconds, the darkness was replaced by bright fluorescent lights. They’d reached the basement, and the elevator door slid open. Rebecca quickly stepped out and followed John to the corner where several police officers were gathered. One looked up from his notes and moved out of their way as they approached.

Revenge of the Hideous Lady

Revenge of the Hideous Lady

Stanley told her as he put her down slowly. At that moment, the elevator suddenly plunged downwards, making them panic. She grabbed for Stanley blindly and held on tightly while he hastily pressed against the wall behind him to find balance. The elevator continued its rapid descent into further darkness. An eerie feeling made the air feel stale. Xyla felt goosebumps erupting all over her body. “What’s going on? The elevator is out of control. Honey, what do we do? Are we going to die here?” If the elevator kept descending at this rate, they would die with certainty.

The storyline is too good to be true! I love all the leads and emotions are shown very clearly... but nowadays, it looks like story is still dragged out... same drama, same praises, same scandals... either this should end on a good note or may be Author should change the perspective.
Peachy Barbadillo
a lot is going on with the story and I feel like Stanley was being left behind in this story...I think y should focus more on the two main character...where is Stanley's point of view when xyla were being attack and bullied..that's all but great story though but decided to drop it...

Divorced my Cheating Husband for his Billionaire Uncle

Divorced my Cheating Husband for his Billionaire Uncle

Fifteen minutes later, Halloway returns, huffing. “Why are you breathing so heavily?” “The elevator has broken down.” Marsh rolls his eyes. “Let’s go down then. You need the exercise anyway…” Halloway huffs and puffs down the staircase, bending double when they finally reach the ground floor. Even though they say coming down is less strenuous than coming up, when you have gone up and now you’re coming down with your legs feeling like jelly, maybe it is not as easy as they make it seem. “Where is he?”

The Reaper's Pet

The Reaper's Pet

Around this character Death, wanton violence is the norm like in an episode of Tom and Jerry, but the pranks are much too real and brutal to be funny. Like the world’s most cruel punch line, it turns out there’s actually a panel of buttons to control the elevator and that’s where Death now proceeds to input a secret code. Everything starts shaking and – before I can crunch my stomach right where it is – the elevator drops like a boulder. I can’t tell just by looking at Death though. No matter how fast we’re falling, the Grim Reaper stands as erect and elegant as a general in the bombed frontlines, his back still turned to me. We slide past more torture floors and reach the basement, but stil

The Charismatic Charlie Wade

The Charismatic Charlie Wade

Charlie stepped into the narrow elevator with Bruce following close behind. The control panel in the elevator only had one green button. Bruce pressed the button and explained, "If someone is at the bottom, press this button to go up. If someone is at the top, press this button to go down. You can't stop in the middle." Charlie nodded. As the elevator started moving down, he looked at Bruce and asked, "How deep is it down here?" "60 meters," Bruce answered.

DDD: Daddies Dirty Desire

DDD: Daddies Dirty Desire

The elevator car swayed faintly—cables creaking overhead. He carried her—still buried deep—out of the elevator when it dinged at the penthouse level. Long hallway, dark wood floors, floor-to-ceiling windows. Dropped her on her knees in front of the wide leather couch. Cock slick and hard in her face—throbbing, veins standing out.

THE ALPHA'S DEBT

THE ALPHA'S DEBT

Behind the tall door is a brightly lit hallway that leads to an elevator, which opens when we're about two feet away, and I tilt my head to gaze at Vince on my right. “It's underground.” His voice echoes off the shiny black walls. I raise one eyebrow as we enter the elevator. Vince presses a button, and the elevator slowly slides down, making my stomach feel empty. A bell dings just as the elevator stops and opens, ushering us into another hallway identical to the one before.

The Alpha Who Forgot Me

The Alpha Who Forgot Me

The runes on the frame lit up, spinning. Scan initiated. Verifying Alpha DNA... Confirmed. The heavy oak bookshelf groaned and slid aside, revealing the elevator shaft. The old steel cage waited in the darkness, looking like a mouth leading to the belly of the earth. "The stairs are deep," I said, looking down into the abyss. "Three hundred feet of spiral staircase carved into the bedrock. The air is heavy down there. It feels... wrong." "The stairs are faster than the elevator," Nash said, his voice rasping. "The elevator is too slow. If the system locks down while we're inside, we're trapped. The mechanism is ancient; it doesn't care if we die."
