Rya's words rang in my head again and I heaved a sigh. I wondered if Lucita was really the person she said she is. Is Lucita dead? Are we dealing with an impostor? The answer isn't far-fetched. Whoever covered her tracks must be a pro but I know that she is definitely Lucita Gera. She had all the memories she shared with Jericho and of course, she torments him with it. I glanced at the laptop on the table. It still displayed the unfinished part of the edited video. Again I wondered why the video was edited.

Lucy's loud voice rang out, too high-pitched. My head snapped up as she strode in, her eyes shining with excitement. “What is it?” I asked, instantly on guard. Good news and Lucy rarely came without strings attached. She walked quickly toward me, barely containing herself. “You won’t believe it. I just received word from… Crystal. She’s alive.” I stared at her. “What?” She nodded quickly, a smile spreading across her face. “She’s alive. And not just that… she’s with the Shadow Blood pack. With Alpha Thorne.”

Brittney explained cautiously looking straight at Lucia. Lucia nodded and finished her porridge hurriedly. She lost interest in speaking to Brittney. She threw the empty food pack and walked to the bed. "Luci aren't you going to join me in the cake?" She shook her head and proceeded to climb into bed. "Luci take a bite. It's just one bite." Lucia stared at the cake for a while without a word, she sat on the bed. Brittney cut out a piece and handed it to her.

Lucas said. Lucia smiled coldly behind her mask. Her eyes turned colder, and Lucas subconsciously looked at her, warily. Her stance gave off the chills now. Lucia didn't like how people thought of her grandpa as someone dead or about to die. "Compile a list of the shareholders." Lucia ordered.

Terrick wasn't angry, instead he was happy with the fact that Catrina is becoming a different person, and she is endeavoring to blend into his world. Terrick stood behind her, looking at the black witch who he had encountered when they were looking for the wolves and vampires who were kidnapped. " Ugrhh” Lucia grunt, feeling the pain on her head. She open her eyes to see the supreme alpha looking at her with a smile on his face. " Hi Lucia, I thought you wouldn't wake up again” Catrina said smiling at the witch. " you are smarter than I thought, I must give you credit for catching on to my plan” Lucia smiled at her.

Wren said proudly. “Really?” I asked, surprised. “Yes.” Wren smiled. “She is amazing. She will make a great Luna.” I was so proud, so damn proud of my girl. How the hell did I not know about this? “I am so proud of you, baby.” I said, wrapping my arms around her and kissing her cheek. She blushed and smiled. “Thank you.” “Okay.” Wren said. “I will leave you now. Emma, you need to sleep and rest, okay? Let me know as soon as you feel Eliza coming back. I will give you another dose of antibiotic and the nurse will bring you something to eat.”

Lucia ended the call, feeling like a champion who had just won her second belt in the world of wrestling. “That'll teach him not to dare me” Lucia ended as she went inside, mumbling curses to Wilson. She didn't bother about getting any food again due to her loss of appetite she had just gotten. When she got to her mom's room, she met her mom awake and being attended to by some medical staff. Her joy knew no bounds as she ran to her mom, giving her a big hug.

“ I didn’t reject Lucas for nothing, you see.” Nick bares his teeth, his nostrils flaring. “Lucas is one of the pack’s best warriors. You are lucky to have him as your mate. " He pauses for a while to control his nerves, taking a few deep breaths. “You must be dreaming if you think the former Alpha and Luna will allow you to become the future Luna after humiliating the pack with your crazy stunts,” Nick roars. Laura stomps her foot, acting like a spoiled teenage girl, “If Nathan still refuses to make me his Luna, maybe one of the Alphas from neighboring packs can make me theirs.” She shrugs and rolls her eyes with an inaudible giggle.

My wolf thundered, claws ripping inside my chest. Before I could call for Axel, movement outside my window caught my eye. Lucia.
