The Day She Stopped Waiting

The Day She Stopped Waiting

Then came bedtime. Reasonable. Peanut already asleep in the nursery. God. Tiny and peaceful. Fair. Meanwhile Lily lay beneath her blankets. Reasonable honestly. Mr. Buttons tucked safely beneath one arm. God. Adrian sat beside her bed. Fair. The usual routine. Reasonable. A story. A goodnight kiss. God. Then sleep. Fair. Or at least that was the plan. Reasonable. Then Lily spoke. God. "Dada?" Fair. There it was. Reasonable honestly.

10 chapters in and I hope it’s second chance book. I love a good “leaving my shitty husband for a better man” plot but sometimes I love a good “I need to get my wife back” plot as well. Sometimes I want to read about how a relationship was pulled back from the brink and I feel this is goi to be it.

Rejected By My Mate, Claimed By Lycan Quadruplets

Rejected By My Mate, Claimed By Lycan Quadruplets

Lisa's POV I could still hear the soft hum of the night crickets outside the windows, that low, steady song that always felt like a lullaby in this estate. The house had finally gone quiet. The children had exhausted themselves after another long day—Elias had refused to sleep until Enzo told him a story about wolves and warriors, Aria had clung to me until her tiny fists finally slackened, Kael had fought with his usual stubbornness until Atlas came in with that deep voice that always made him calm down, and Lyra had demanded one more lullaby before her eyes fluttered shut.

I'm thinking 'bout how people fall in love in mysterious ways Maybe it's all part of a plan Well, I'll just keep on making the same mistakes Hoping that you'll understand That, baby, now Take me into your loving arms Kiss me under the light of a thousand stars Place your head on my beating heart Thinking out loud Maybe we found love right where we are (oh, oh) La, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, lo-ud So, baby, now Take me into your loving arms Kiss me under the light of a thousand stars Oh, darling, place your head on my beating heart I'm thinking out loud But maybe we found love right where we are Oh, baby, we found love right where we are And we found love right where we are. SANDRA'S HEART TALE

SANDRA'S HEART TALE

She buried her head into her hands and sobbed. “Mummy can you give auntie a hug?” Sean asked his mother. “She is very sad.” Natasha turned to look at Luyando’s desperate state. “Sean, why don’t you and I go out and take a look at the beautiful orchard behind the house?” Tulani took his son’s hand and led him out of the room. “What is an orchard dad?” Sean asked. “It is a garden of fruits son.” “Woooow. Are there apples there?” the four year old asked excitedly.

Loathed Wife of the Wicked Billionaire

Loathed Wife of the Wicked Billionaire

••Athara•• As I cradled our son in my arms, I hummed a soft lullaby that my mother used to sing to me when I was a child. The sweet melody filled the room, and my little boy’s eyes slowly began to flutter close. I closed my eyes too, breathing in the scent of his soft hair as I lost myself to the music. I put him to bed when he was quite asleep. "Sleep tight, my handsome little man," I said in the middle of humming the lullaby that made him close his eyes.

I pulled the quilt up to my chin and sank deeper into my pillow. "Let me tell you a bedtime story." Riley lay beside me and slipped his arm around my shoulder. "How about I tell you the story of the three pigs? After all, I need to practice telling stories to the baby." "Okay." I chuckled, looking up at him expectantly. "Once upon a time, three little pigs lived in a forest..." When Riley was done with the fairy tale, he started singing lullabies in an effort to get me to fall asleep. While his voice wasn't amazing, it was calming.

The Forgotten King

The Forgotten King

I lull to sleep with the crackling of fire tranquillizing me. His soothing hums brings waves of happiness to me as he combs his strong fingers through my dark; curly; locks of hair. His lulls vibrate through his muscular chest as I trace patterns on his built chest. I smile, this moment I wish could last forever. His lulls are his stories, the ones he would tell. Purely to make me smile.

I hope you'll enjoy it... __________________________________________________________________________ " Mama, tell me a story," said a little girl in her baby voice. She hurriedly climbed on the bed and slipped under the cover. "I was waiting for you to say that" Her mother sighed and sat in bed next to her. "Which one would you like to hear today, Luna." She asked even though she already knew which one Luna wanted to hear. "The one where Moon Goddess punishes werewolves," said Luna, the excitement was clear in her voice. She knew this story by heart but still, she wanted to hear it every single night.
