I walked outside with Kiran and he stopped and turned on his heel when we reached my car. “What have I told you about using magic outside of the house?” he asked me angrily and walked to his car. I looked at him, a bit shocked, as he got in his car and drove away. I opened the Jeep’s door and nearly had a heart attack when Saga opened her cloak and appeared in front of me. “Shit, Saga. Dad would kill you if he knew you used magic at school,” I said as she walked around the Jeep and we climbed in. “He’ll only know if you tell him. Besides, he’s already mad at you for doing it, there’s no point in both of us being in trouble,” she said with a smile. “Drive out to the Point.”

We weren’t prepared enough, we were cocky the first time, and now Marcy- “Hey,” Terran placed his on my arm and when I opened my eyes he only shook his head from side to side. He didn’t have to say any more than he already had, which wasn't much. One thing I was grateful for was his ability to know his place and not insert his opinion where no one wanted it. “The ground is set with magical trigger items,” he started once I was listening, “if Madeline’s magic senses an intruder, it will set off my magic and trap them temporarily within a cage of branches, but it’s not foolproof.”

Jackson grabbed her hand pulled her back, "What the fuck are you doing Maggie", Jackson said pulling her away "Why did you bring me here, why is she here and not dead", Maggie shouted pointing her finger at me. Just like I promised, I shared Eric's and Steve money to all the ladies that destroyed their lifes. As for Scarlett, well.. she's currently thanking her stars she didn't fall for his trap. She asked Anna for forgiveness, and although they aren't close but Anna has forgiven her. The both of them are just cool, but definitely not friends. I smiled staring at the sky, in this life I and my family have all made mistakes. The slight bad mistakes, and the really bad ones. But I think the main thing here, is that we have all learnt from all our mistakes.

But things finally changed on that stormy night. On the night of my 18th birthday, candlelight flickered in the council's stone tower. "Elena!" Grandfather pushed the door open, several elders following behind him. Their faces were grave, as if they were about to make a major announcement. "Sit down." He pointed to the stone chair. I obediently sat down, waiting for them to speak. "The Moon Goddess' oracle has been delivered." Elder Mary Morse spoke first. "You will become Alpha Damon's mate."

I uttered nervously and scratched my eyebrow. Is this her grandmother? She looks scary, indeed! "I'm looking for Magda," I said. "I brought some food for her," I added and smiled awkwardly. I scratched the back of my head. I was devastated when her eyes narrowed as if she were reading me. "Who's Magda?" she asked confusedly. "There's no Magda here. Go away!" the old lady scolded me and turned her back. I panicked. I hold the gate quickly to avoid closing it. She stopped because of what I did.

Well thank goodness I stared at my reflection in the elevator walls. I noticed a hickey on my neck. Hickeys actually Shit I muttered leaning closely to the wall "how didn't I notice them before?" Great Just great. "Perfect" I groaned softly, rubbing my fingers over the faint marks, as some memories flashed through my mind I mean yeah the sec was good but it's best to not get involved with some guy right now. The elevator doors dinged, snapping me out of my thoughts.

The day was still tense at the Crystal pack. Warriors had been sent out in every direction. Some searched for Rina, some searched for Darius and the girls. The pack house felt emptier without so many men around. Rowland sat in his chair, brooding. Maggie walked into the hall. Her steps were quick, and her face showed frustration. She looked around before her eyes landed on Rowland. “You are making a mistake,” she said. Rowland glanced at her, his tone dismissive. “What do you mean?”

TERROR. Intense dread, fright, or fear. A specific instance of being intensely terrified. Memories of the accident were the perfect definition of terror for Dylan Blake. It always felt like he was reliving the moment his car crashed against another and his mind never stopped playing the look of dread in Hannah’s expression as she stared at him. Most importantly, he was terrified of making eye contact with those emerald eyes and knowing there was nothing he could have done to save her. If only his heart hadn’t acted up that night, she might still be next to him.

Gabe stiffened, and as he was about to open his mouth, Maggie burst into the room. “I accidentally went into the wrong room, and let me tell you.” She announced, slamming the door behind her. She puffed out her cheeks, “That was embarrassing!” She sing-songed as she tossed her bag of makeup and curling irons on the bed. “Anyway, the guys were really cool about it.” She shrugged before taking my hand. “I can’t wait for you to wear that red one!” She cheered, covering her mouth. “You look so beautiful in green though! Doesn’t she Gabe?” Maggie gushed as she twirled me around. I couldn’t help but giggle as she pushed me into the vanity seat.
