The droplets of blood from her hand floated into the air, breaking into smaller, glimmering spheres. They pulsed like tiny hearts. “That Bitch! She is making use of blood magic,” one of the still alive Vampires muttered behind me. I barely had time to register the words when the vampire who spoke suddenly let out a strangled scream. His body contorted, growing grotesquely larger—skin stretched too tight over muscle—until he… burst.

Frustration surges through me, and the vampire chuckles above me, smiling into my face. “Are those tears?” He drags a finger underneath my eyes, collecting a single tear. “It is...” his scary smile widens. “That’s lovely: I love it when my victims are terrified. It makes the blood taste even sweeter!”

Golden— eyes—fangs— the panic biting —the blood. Damn it’s him. That Vampire. I gulped uneasily as he stared at me with those golden cat eyes that seems to bore into my soul and smiled decisively with a hint of sinister. I was lost for words, I don’t know what to say. My skin crawled at the sight of him making me felt exactly like when I saw the first vampire at the hospital. This was the least person I expected in my college this morning. My stomach begun to twirl with bile that just rushed to my throat. I wanted to scream but my voice was lost deep down inside of me.

frank’s vague voice commented dully from accross the room. The dullness in his voice was worse than certainty. It had the feel of a man who had handled something unpleasant and had not been surprised by how filthy it was. I was getting angry, between the desperate need to drink more blood and knowing what I was becoming, I loose it and scream. It was ear splitting, a high pitched sound that begins to crack the glass of the window and I watch as the vampires clamp theirs hands over their ears, blood trickling between their fingers and leaking out the corners of their mouths as they cough, some drop to the floor as I continue to scream, piercing their eardrums.
