She reached out, her fingers grazing the petals as if they were calling to her. His heart clenched. A charm. The flowers had been poisoned with magic. His vision shifted again, and a shadow moved behind her. A man stepped out—his face hidden beneath a large hood. Draven’s jaw tightened as he watched the stranger reach for Aurora. The moment his fingers brushed against her skin, Aurora’s body tensed.

“But here you are. And if you’re not careful, you’ll get us all killed.” Before I can respond, Achilles saunters in, a grin plastered across his face. “Mara, darling, must you scare the poor thing?
