Marble Floors Lyrics Novels & Stories

The scent of salt, palm leaves, and blooming jasmine filled the air. Two wide cedar doors slid open seamlessly, revealing a marble foyer that shimmered like liquid ice, floating staircase made of polished oak and a floor-to-ceiling glass walls offering a view of the turquoise ocean Soft music drifted through hidden speakers. something slow, romantic, and calming. Olivia smiled and felt at peace with this new world life gave her.

“Wait till you get to the throne room. And try to be quiet, these halls can give quite an echo.” From the delicate watercolors to the bold, oil-painted canvases, every brushstroke seems to whisper tales of love, loss, and laughter. The frames, ornate and gilded, added a touch of luxury, their subtle gleam had the ability to draw the eye to the treasures within. The floor, a masterpiece of polished marble, stretched out like a river of moonlight, guiding me deeper into the hall. The subtle sheen seemed to shift and shimmer as I moved, casting a hypnotic glow that beckons you forward.

I needed to find him. My heels echoed across the marble floor as I stepped back into the ballroom. The music was slower now, softer—velvet smooth violins weaving through laughter and glitter. The chandeliers flickered above like stars caught in a windless sky. My chest still ached with what Evelyn had said, the way she’d said it. Her words clung to me like thorns. I could still hear the tremble in her voice when she said, "Even when I tried to be you."

Crystal light danced across the marble floor, painting everything in gold and creating an atmosphere that felt almost magical. "Yeah, you've been busy with Liam the whole time, I feel like I haven't seen you," Caleb said, still moving his feet to the music with Deborah in his arms.

Nothing like Carter marble and chandeliers. The room smelled like rubber mats and old coffee, cleaner than the Velvet, honest in a way Carter’s marble never is. The floor stretched wide: wood planks pale and slightly scuffed, mirrors running one wall, racks of mats and resistance bands stacked neatly. It wasn’t glamorous. It was work. And that was exactly what made my chest tighten.

On, through a dim hallway, we reach another door, and through that… “Holy shit,” I breathe as we step into a cavernous hall. The ceiling is a riot of frescoes divided up into squares and circles, the windows are so tall I almost get dizzy. The floor here is decidedly not cracked; it’s a twisting pattern of ribbons in pink and black marble that convene in a medallion in the center of the floor, near the base of an arching staircase. Owen leans down to whisper in my ear, just as awed as I am, “Welcome home, us.”

The lava shadows dancing on the rocks looks so beautiful. Once we're inside, he takes me to what I assume is the main room. It's a big room. The floor is a k marble with mists of galaxies and stars flowing around it.. The ceiling is so high, but there is a ball of red, yellow, and orange energy flowing around in a circle. The man pulls out a chair from the table and I sit down. He then sits across from me and stares at me, which makes me a little uncomfortable. I feel a blush coming up on me, and I twirl my finger.

I was waiting for mine. Then a raven hopped on one leg towards me, and Astrid laughed. I put my hands out and picked him up. I petted his feathers. His eyes were looking carefully at me. I got you. Don’t listen to them. My eyes turned to Astrid. She was not worth my attention right now, so I stood up and walked towards Nova. As I passed her, I tripped on an invisible something and fell flat on the marble floor. The impact of my hands hitting the cold marble sent a shimmering ripple across the surface, like tossing a stone into a still pond. The ancient markings on the floor glowed faintly for a split second, as if waking from a long sleep. Everyone gasped, watching as the ripple slowly faded

Violet's Pov Tranquil and chill ran through me, the floor, cold and smooth against my skin. I recognized the make of the floor immediately — Marble. I blinked against the dim lights like I had done the first time I woke up here — my vision was hazy and my body was stiff. Was I drugged? I realized I had been lying on the hard floor. I tried to sit up but my wrists ached. I was still tied up. A sharp tug had confirmed it.

And all of it ended when elevator the dinged and we directly reached his closet. Just few seconds, he drove me crazy and hungry, for him. The spotless floor now has our coloured footprints. I don't know if anyone called a place sexy,I am considering it now. The black tiles and the marbles laid on the wall, the cascading water upon our naked skin and the aromas of body wash, has got me say that.
