Masquerade Ball Invitations Novels & Stories

However, my breath caught when I opened the thick paper and broke the seal. “You have been invited to a private masquerade party. At 9 p.m. on Saturday night. The Manor of Crimson. Put on black. Put on your mask. Get rid of your limitations.” That was all. No signature, no specifics. That enticing promise alone. I was unable to stop thinking about it for three nights. Masquerade. There was a sense of mystery and eroticism in the term itself. I imagined sparkling chandeliers, Venetian masks, and strangers touching without really knowing who they were touching.

“No? Okay, sorry snookums.” Kiara opened the invitation reading it from cover to cover. “No way…” She put her hand over her mouth, squealing and kicking her feet. It was an invitation to the biggest, most influential Charity Gala there was, Acts of Compassion. It was a two-in-one as well, it came as a masquerade party as well. “Hey! That hurts,” Maria whined as her daughter’s hyperactivity affected her ears. “Dad? Are you kidding? Is this a fake?” Kiara turned the letter over, trying to look for any evidence of a faux letter. But, no, instead there it was, the stamp of approval right at the bottom of the letter.

“This is an invitation to the Alpha’s Crescent Night Gala. A masquerade ball that happens once every decade. The invitation is given to a household at random, regardless of your rank in the pack. This is basically the perfect place for anyone to attend and find their destined mate, without having to worry about their rank. According to the invite, I can bring one more person along. Let’s go to the gala together!” Watching her get this excited for this event made me feel a little guilty I could not share the same sentiment. At the same time, though, the part about finding a ‘special someone’ did catch my attention. I have little hope in finding that ‘special someone’, but if it’s finding some

asks Hunter with a hesitant look on his face. “My eighteenth birthday is going to be a huge celebration. Many packs will be present as well as covens. So I decided to make it a masquerade ball so you two can attend and Allison too.” I don’t like the idea of so many people in attendance but the bright side is she is right. We can attend no problem. There will be so many scents no one will notice that we are masking ours. “That sounds wonderful angel. We’d be honored to attend.” “Good, colors are red and black. No in between,” she declares before winking a me and returning her attention to some decorations.

Expensive perfumes from various brands lingered in the air. Rose was stunned, surrounded by high-society guests. At the entrance, Aaron showed their RSVP invitation. The greeter then handed each of them a mask with a handle. Aaron and Rose exchanged confused looks. “What’s this?” Aaron asked. The greeter smiled widely. “It’s a masquerade theme, sir. You can see it on the invitation.” Aaron handed one of the masks to Rose. “Looks like my prayer was answered,” he joked. Rose simply smiled and placed the half-mask over her face. The sound of classical music flowing from inside made it feel like stepping into a royal era.

I took the card from inside and read the words. I realized right away that it was an invitation to a masquerade ball, not just any ball. Wow! I've never been to a ball before, but I've always wanted to go. I read the invitation and discovered that the ball is being held the day after tomorrow by a man named Marshall Adams in recognition of his success in business. When I read that they could bring their partner, I was overjoyed. Why hadn't Logan informed me of this? Perhaps he was planning to ask me as a surprise. This man has a lot of surprises up his sleeve.

This music gala wasn't open to the public. Each young woman wore a mask and entered the inner hall in order, according to the list, to perform and showcase their talents in hopes of gaining Emery's favor. I was number 24 on the list, right behind Evelyn. After noticing I had been inside for nearly 20 minutes, Evelyn began to panic. After all, she had been ushered out by Emery's assistant, Kevin Keenan, less than five minutes after her performance ended.

Many round tables were dotted around the room, decorated tastefully with a gold and red motif of colors which represents wealth, prosperity and good fortune. This masquerade ball certainly was a display of wealth and prosperity, from the crystal Champaign glasses and silver and gold cutlery to the stunning paintings and decorations on the wall. But that wasn't what caught one's eyes! Inside the ballroom were group of people wearing cloths, jewelries and other accessories that worth millions of dollars. The women's ear rings, rings, and necklace and bracelet all together shone brighter than the light in the room. Anyone who caught a glimpse inside the room would Immediately know that this was
