"You will learn to be a perfect ornament, a beautiful thing that does not move or speak unless I command it. Do you understand?"
"Yes sir," I whispered, my voice barely audible even to myself.
"Louder," he commanded. "I want the others to hear you."
"Yes sir," I said again, my voice stronger this time. Several of the other omegas flinched at the sound, their bodies tensing for a moment before settling back into their practiced stillness.
"Good," he said with a slight nod of approval. "Now stand perfectly still. Do not move. Do not speak. Do not even breathe too loudly. You will remain this way until I tell you otherwise."
