The queen-sized bed is covered by a spread cheerfully patterned with yellow flowers, and the pillows look fluffy. I’m in love! It’s as if they knew my favorite colors. But the thing that startles me most is the MacBook glowing on the desk. I wonder if I’m allowed to use it.

The glass wall opposite to the book shelves has black curtains draped while a long black couch is placed on the adjacent wall facing my desk. I step on the black olefin carpet and walk straight to my swivel chair and sit on it. Without wasting a second Lucas follows my lead and sits on the opposite chair with his elbows propped on the desk. “We need their scent to get their location.” Lucas starts without giving in another second to get comfortable.

Damn, I didn’t even bring my laptop. I look to the well-polished giant office desk and I see a computer sitting on it. One that is connected to three huge monitors. There also happens to be a small area that looks like a living room in here. There are three couches and a job coffee table sitting on a cream rug. There also seems to be a small bar in here, now why is there a bar in my office? This is so cool! And the office is so big! It’s almost the size of an apartment.

It’s like his scent lingers in here. Dash has a laptop in here, and I smile at the possibilities. My night has improved immensely with the possibilities of what I could do with myself in the next couple of hours that Dash will be busy. His eyebrows furrowed in confusion as he looked around his room whilst I hesitantly entered, suddenly feeling awkward as I stood in the middle of the room I had MERCILESSLY trashed almost feeling unworthy to be standing in it now that it had been fixed up.
