The Moon Goddess Dream

The Moon Goddess Dream

Such ignorance. He remembered the first war like it happened just yesterday. The battlefield remained quiet, for it was a graveyard of the unburied. Their corpses lay down among the filthy. The sunset was warm, and the wind still blew, but somewhere mothers and fathers, brothers and sisters waited in vain. They were now meat for the birds. Their eyes were as immobile as their limbs. Just like in the past, at times the memory of finding Prenah in the woods would surface and he would swallow hard, willing his eyes to remain dry and his mind focused.

Children Not Soldiers

Children Not Soldiers

I browsed the shelves, and I read the titles. Into the fire, A firsthand Account of the extraordinary Battle in Afghan War by Dakota Meyer, Bing West 500 Days, Secrets and Lies in the Terror Wars- Kurt Eichenwald The War for crown and Empire There are all sorts of books about wars here. I paused in front of a book that I deemed the most interesting. I pulled it out of the shelf and stared at it, contemplating whether to get on with it or not. I can choose a much thinner book… The 33 Strategies of War- Robert Greene

Stolen Luna By The Rival Alpha

Stolen Luna By The Rival Alpha

Cursive writing from the 1700s filled the pages, interspersed with photographs and drawings that preserved cherished memories. Alexander had written about the wars and battles he’d witnessed. One passage detailed blood spattering on his uniform as he lay on the battlefield, with an enemy’s body on top of him, seeking cover from gunfire. It felt invasive, like I was peering into a part of his life he never really opened up about—he had only mentioned that he’d lived for centuries. He knew all about my past.

Donavon's lost Luna

Donavon's lost Luna

Every step taken was weighted by the memory of sacrifice, and every whispered word carried a promise to honor those who had fallen. Donavon stood at the edge of the northern front, his gaze sweeping over the field strewn with remnants of battle. Broken weapons, scattered insignia, and the silent forms of wounded and fallen wolves spoke volumes of the fierce struggle they had endured. His eyes, dark and resolute, softened momentarily as he remembered faces of friends lost—each loss a scar upon his heart.

Latent Memoirs

Latent Memoirs

he ordered while holding my head lightly as I stayed inside his arms. I was trying to calm myself. My memories kept on bugging me, they're inside my head messing me up. It's suffocating me, I couldn't breathe. I was trying to fight it but it's hunting me. Tears were starting to form in my eyes and the flashback before my eyes started as I hear the cry and sob of my mother along with the loud gunshot that killed my father. "Hey, hey. Samantha, I'm here. Calm down, I'm here. You are safe."

Against all odds

Against all odds

It had only sharpened the edges, made the memories more vivid, more impossible to ignore. I left the café and walked again, this time heading to the river. Water reflected the city lights, shimmering like broken glass. I imagined him there, standing on the opposite bank, reaching for me silently. My chest ached with the thought. The war inside me—between anger and longing, pride and desire—was at its peak. And I knew, deep down, that nothing would ever be the same.

Memories

Memories

Saying that quite out loud "When she awoke in a cold sweat, the darkness fresh inside and outside her mind, I would talk to her, speak words of encouragement in that high, teetering voice of mines until she made it to other end of the hall and to her mother’s room. You’re almost there. You’re almost there. No one had ever grown closer to her than me, no one had ever come closer to feeling like home." I sighed, that was her favorite story line from the book "Memories" by Dim Leon, I remember how much I hated reading that book, but she made me read her bed time stories. "I miss you every day Nuella" keeping aside a picture of hers, she was smiling at me that day, she looked so beautiful, she

Forbidden flame

Four days since the‍ war officially started. Time hadn’t dulled anything. If anything, it sharpened it every memo‌ry, every soun‍d, every scream replaying in my head like a punishment I d‌idn‌’t deserve yet willingly‌ a‍ccepted. Sle‍ep came in fragments, broken by nightmares‍ so‍aked in blood and regret.‌ Waking up felt more worse‍ than sleeping.

Arranged Bride For The Lycan King

Arranged Bride For The Lycan King

Things were still pretty good back then after the war that separated us from the Werewolves. When things died down, it was like a breath of fresh air for us to be free with who we were. “Do you see anything?” Not yet, all these things were just records of administration and important events. The book was quite huge so I knew that I was in for a long time. It was very dusty so I had to hold my breath Everytime I flipped the pages. “I think I found something.” Lawrence crouched beside me to look at the book. The entry dated

The Alpha's Defiant Luna

The Alpha's Defiant Luna

"Would we forget everything we've been through? Every battle, every loss, every victory?" Mira nodded slowly, her eyes filled with sorrow. "Everything. The battles, the losses, the victories. All of it. The pain, the grief, the love, the bonds we've formed. Everyone who survived the war would have no memory of it." The council debated for hours.
