CHAPTER 160 — MERIDIAN’S HEART The city groaned like a wounded beast. Every street, every building, every pulse of Meridian itself shuddered beneath the rising darkness. Riven’s knuckles were white on the crown key, sweat running down his face, his chest tight with the weight of what was coming.

Emerald is standing behind Adam, who is about to announce her. "Good Afternoon, we are sorry to interupt your Saturday but we have a few things we need to share with you today. Her eyes were deep green and her lips were a natural shade of Venetian red. She had some freckles on her neck but it was almost not visible, especially when she applied makeup on it. She had a little freckle on her nose and a beauty mark on her bottom lip instead of above her lips. Autumn, on the other hand, had both and was lucky to be freckles-free.
