I compose a message to send to the group chat, my fingers swiftly typing the words as I try to steady my thoughts. "Hey, everyone, I’m fine. I’m back at the museum in Millenium Park, looking at a painting that has captivated my mind. I just need some space right now. Everything has just happened at once, and I need time to think. Please don’t worry. I will get back to you soon."

I went and got my cell phone out of my purse to call my parents… …and realized I had 79 missed messages. It didn’t take as long to listen to them as you would think. Over 70 were from reporters or media people: television, magazine, newspaper, talk shows, even a couple of book agents. I listened to the first couple with bemused interest, then started deleting them as soon as I heard, “Hello, Ms. Ross, this is blah-blah-blah from Action 5 news – ” Anh had left a funny little message about how I could have been the next Kim Kardashian or Paris Hilton except I didn’t have any moving pictures. Then she turned serious and asked how I was doing, and told me to call her when I could.

A small whimper escaped my mouth causing me to slap a hand over it. His laugh filled the room. Despite the turmoil of emotions that were ravaging my mind, I couldn’t deny the fact that his body was nothing less than perfect.

I hadn't done any work since this whole world wind romance, proposal, and possible break up had happened. Which wasn't good since we didn't have a lot of time to do what had been asked of us at the Board meeting. I logged onto my beta account and noticed I had a few private chat requests and messages. Messages? When did we add email to this. It was supposed to be live interaction. There were 4 messages, one from the night Noah asked me to marry him. No congratulations, just a simple message updating me on the process of the project. It should be the other way around, but I wasn't complaining. I missed talking to Adam.
