The Alpha's Betrayal: My Second Chance To Defy Fate

The Alpha's Betrayal: My Second Chance To Defy Fate

Sarah and I walked together toward the residential building, comparing the room assignments we'd been given. "Room 314," she said, squinting at her paper. "Same," I replied, not surprised. Apparently, some things didn't change between lifetimes. The dormitory was just as grand as the rest of the academy, with high ceilings and portraits of distinguished-looking supernaturals lining the walls. We climbed the stairs to the third floor, our footsteps echoing in the corridor. Room 314 was larger than I'd expected, with three beds arranged around the space and tall windows that let in plenty of natural light. Sarah immediately claimed the bed by the window, and I took the one in the middle, leavi

My Alpha Hates Me

My Alpha Hates Me

CLAIRE'S POV "Room 304." I exhaled, staring at my room number. It was on the highest floor, and I had dragged my suitcase all the way up. I didn't know how they assigned dorms, but when I went back to Madam Gretchen's office to get my bags, she told me I was in Raven dorm, which was apparently the best dorm according to the handbook I read. They had a public hot tub, a gym room, a theater room for movies, a library, and a snack room too.

Moonlit ice, A wolf's fated mate

Moonlit ice, A wolf's fated mate

I can’t imagine having to go to the end of the hall or using a public bathroom all the time in general. They remodeled the campus a couple of years ago, so now the dorm rooms are set up more like hotel rooms. Each dorm has a bathroom to share with your roommate. We also each have our desk and shelf built in. As I walk back into the main room in a towel, there’s a knock at the door. “Who is it?” I shout, but there’s no response. I slowly check the peephole, but there’s no one there. Curiosity wins, and I crack the door open.

Bound by the Alphas

Bound by the Alphas

He typed my name into the search bar and soon the screen shifted, showing my name, my face, and what room I would be residing in, ’15. Just below it was another name and face, ‘Penny’. “Is she my roommate?” I don’t stop the excited lilt in my voice. Xaden simply nodded, leading me toward the staircase. We walked up the stairs and entered a giant hallway with a ton of other doors. We walked until we reached the door with the number 15 on it. “How many other rooms are there?” I asked, glancing at the doors and the corresponding numbers. “There’s 20 rooms in each section, not including the Dorm Advisor’s room which is located downstairs through the kitchen.”

MATED TO THE ENEMY

MATED TO THE ENEMY

The girls showed me around our dorm. It was more like a micro home with a small kitchen, a big sitting room and three mini bedrooms. The girls had taken the liberty to repaint the entire dorm in the most devastating color they could have pulled, pink. Not that I expected any less or more from an elf and a fae. Thankfully they left my room unpainted and I was welcomed with the calming aura of light lilac walls when I walked in. I dropped my bags onto the hardwood floor of my new dorm room, the thud echoing faintly in the small space. Exhaustion clung to me like a second skin, every muscle aching from the long journey from Hatchville

Under The Moonlight

Under The Moonlight

What if I think of something in the moment and don't have time to ask Alberta about it? I decided that I would only ask Alberta if it was something special that wouldn't be taking place on a regular basis or in the comfort of our living quarters. The suite in the Guardian dorms had four private rooms, so Rose, Lissa, and I would all have our own private bedrooms, and a shared common room/kitchenette/dining area. I don't know what we'd do with the forth bedroom. We didn't really need an in-home gym with the ones on campus, and the girls didn't have enough work to really warrant an office space. I guess I'd just have to ask them about it.

Vermilion

Two Kinetic (big) dorms, one for boys and one for girls; then two Potential (small) dorms, one for boys and one for girls as well. Kinetic Dormitories were designed for everyone from all walks of life who wanted to experience the Sinatra life more than ever, or those who were not originally from that city, while the Potential Dormitories were designed for scholarship recipients and such. Mia was one of them. The dorm she's living in was called the Tuberose Potential Dormitory. It was situated near the university's scholarship building and across the Nursing Department, thus making it a perfect place for her. Aside from its ideal distance to her department, it was also an ideal place for ever

Book One of the Rosewood Trilogy: The Broken Sanctum

Book One of the Rosewood Trilogy: The Broken Sanctum

The room was still small. There was no changing that. A narrow twin bed pushed against one wall, a single window overlooking the back gardens, and a small dresser that had probably been here longer than I had and a desk barely big enough for me. Bare minimum. That was how the lowest-tier dorms were designed. The more power and influence a student had, the higher up the towers they lived. Larger rooms. Private bathing chambers. Better furnishings. More privacy. Here in the lowest tier, the hallways were narrow, the rooms simple, and the bathrooms shared at the end of the corridor.

Dead Weight

Dead Weight

Built to handle 100+ sweating bodies making regrettable decisions. Maya stares at the line. Then laughs once. Small. Tired. “Oh, Past Me, you weird little goblin.” Molly leans in. “Good?” “As housing? Terrible. One big room. No privacy. No separation. Everyone breathing each other’s misery.” “So… current corridor sleeping.” “Exactly, but with worse acoustics.” Eli’s mouth twitches. Maya taps the note. “But for leisure? Perfect.”

My Professor Is My Alpha Mate

My Professor Is My Alpha Mate

I’ve only had one roommate in the past, but this dorm was made to have three roommates. When we walked in, we both gasped. We were met with a small living room and a half kitchen. Half because we weren’t allowed to cook in our dorms so there wasn’t any stove or anything. However, there was a microwave, a fridge, and some counter space, along with a couple of cabinets.

After leaving a review for the "prequel" to this I realized I never reviewed this book!! I really love this book, and how much you can really feel for the characters and the amount of unexpected turn of events is extremely intriguing and captivating (I'm usually good at predictions lol).Must read!

Good book. I wish that Alpha Jonathan paid for his part in Lila’s situation. I feel like the story isn’t complete without that being addressed. Other than that, overall a good book but contains a lot of grammatical and character’s name errors.
