The tone is wildly different from typical MHA fanfic—way more bleak and visceral, with Ochaco grappling with the Debt Devil and Izuku making a contract with the Hero Devil at a terrible cost. It’s not for everyone, but it nails that specific feeling of desperate, ugly power that the source material delivers.
