I had taken a bit longer than usual to get ready , Michael and Jace were waiting in the car . " Hey .. can I ask you something ? " I ask cautiously . I don't want to offend him but I'm curious nonetheless . " Of course . " he says blankly and takes the card out , causing the lights to turn off . We make our way to the elevator . " How come you're always so serious ? " His smile is really bright but I rarely ever see it . I can even count on one hand the times I've seen him truly smile . Perhaps on a certain very rare occasion where Michael actually ends up cracking a good joke .

He smiles, "Hello Lucy." Lucy shakes her head at him, "What's so good for you to smile about?" The guy's smile vanishes. "This is Kemi" She turns to me. "Kemi, this is Mike, he would be assisting you with your dresses and you can ask him questions." Mike smiles broadly at me, "Hello, Kemi." So there are people who smiles genuinely here? It does look genuine or does he always just smile? "Hi." I say before looking away from him.

"How long are you ghsy planning to stay cooped up in here?I'm done entertaining your guests for you.I think I smiled so much my face hurts.I was afraid my face would crack if I stayed anothe minute in there with those wolves"Micheal saidassgaing his cheeks. We bursted into fits of laughter as we watched the frown on his face. "How could you guys laugh?this is serious man.You need to get out of here and greet your guests.You can continue your smooching later."Micheal said sternly but the corner of his lips twitched in the hint of a smile.

Michael did sing loud as he nod at his head I saw my mum smiling sadly at him through my view mirror as Mitchelle chat at her phone she never say a word

It was nice to see people smile and move and engage in other activities, the school has been disturbingly quiet since Garry died. I moved into the other entrance of the hall and was welcomed by Micheal's honey eyes. "Hello, you…You have been MIA," he smiled. Michael was a charming young man, any girl would bite to have him stare at her. But somehow my heart never flickered when he smiled or when he teased. He was persistent and a chaser I would give him that, but I didn't want to be ahead of myself, maybe he was just trying to be a friend.
