Mia's POV: “So, you ready for it?” Mikey asked. “I wouldn't be here if I wasn't,” Jackson said, confidently. “I like that. These are my guys; Shark and Speedy.” Mikey said introducing the people standing next to him. “Speedy is in the race. Shark helps me around so stuff goes according to plan.” Jackson shook Shark and Speedy’s hands. “It's nice to meet you. I hope we have a good race,” he said to Speedy.

The football team fists bump Mikey and it’s so much I could do to try to squeeze my tiny, 160-centimeter frame through the horde of broad-shouldered lackeys surrounding him and Becca, the new ‘It’ couple, it seems. Mikey is a hammerhead football player who’s dumber than a box of screws but I guess Becca doesn’t like him for his philosophical views on things. He is ginormous compared to his teammates, with broad shoulders and arms thicker than my thighs. He's also really handsome, in that rugged manly-man type of way. Not my type but I can still see the appeal... if he doesn’t open his mouth that is.

Once I was settled, Mikey started running again. ‘Where are we going?’ I asked. If Mikey knew that there was a backpack there, it only means that he knew this place. ‘Somewhere safe,’ he replied but didn’t say anything more. Mikey continued to run for another thirty minutes or so before stopping in front of a very big tree. He lowered himself telling me that it was safe to get down. Once I was standing, Mikey took the backpack in his mouth and went behind the very big tree with a very big hole and when he was back he was in his human form. Wearing tattered faded jeans and a white v-neck t-shirt.

Mikey suddenly promised the man in front of him, Keng. "Ahhh, Clark I know that. He is your father." Keng promised the boy he smiled at her. "How old are you?" "I'm 10 years old." He said to Keng. But when I looked at Keng it was like he was pointing at something else or something, hmm... "Come on Mikey, let's eat. Let's all eat." Sister Aelin said to Mikey and us. Mikey was the first to walk towards the table, Nathan and Jasral looked at them again.
