Chapter Two: SIGHTING Later that night, Rojean dolled up to go to a place that was both a nightclub and a bar that everyone was talking about. She was old enough, for sure, especially if she was going to get married soon. But she was never the kind of person to go out on the weekends, to a club or even a bar and always preferred the comfort of their apartment which Lucas didn’t mind at all even when he wanted to go out. She was in a cream coloured off shoulder dress which stopped mid-thigh and hugged her curves beautifully.

It was a red rose. As she reached the stage, Fredrick jumped off of the stage. He went closer towards Mira. He knelt down on the ground on one knee and offered Mira that bright red rose. Mira smiled and accepted that rose. He stood up and offered Mira her hand. She quickly grabbed his hand and he took her towards the stage. The padre started saying something they didn't hear at all. They were too busy admiring each other's beauty. They did not care about the world at all. The whole world disappeared for them. They could only see each other. They could only feel each other. Then the time came for their vows.

I said. I watched her smile turn from amusement to horror as she looked at her finger, revealing the sparking diamond ring on her finger. " OMG!" Mila screamed, jumping out of the bed, her hands still raised up. She looked at me as though I had grown a new head on my head. " What have you done?" she cried out. " Will you marry me?" I asked her as I walked over to where she's standing. I see the tears already dropping down her cheeks as she sniffed.

Smith's accounts, there haven't been any transactions at all…" John tapped his fingers on the desk, irritable and growled coldly, "She's the one who planted the black roses, didn't she? Always playing such nonsensical tricks just to get me to go looking for her… Just to make me cave to her whims! "Go! Bring some men with you and search every inch of this villa. If she's really in this villa, make her kneel before Lara and apologize! "Also, dig those black roses out, root and all. The very sight of them irritates me!"

Lily asked curiously, and Mila flinched a little. “Can you give me a warning before you speak? Heavens! I thought you were asleep.” Mila uttered in a soft tone and moved away from her wardrobe. “She is going to work. She works in a club, as a stripper.” Mila added. “For real? It's obvious!” Lillian found herself voicing out. “What's obvious?” Mila inquired in an arched brow. “She is always acting catty. You need to see the face she held when she welcomed me earlier.” Lillian muttered and Mila chuckled.

I replied, but she shook her head. "Maybe, but they won't be able to hurt you in the place where I'll take you," Mila said. "Really? And where is that?" I asked, but before answering my question, she looked around first, ensuring no one was nearby. "In my house, where Rose is currently staying," she answered, shocking me. Rose? Isn't that the name of Sir Darenn's mother? I thought to myself as I looked at Mila with wide eyes. I was about to say something when the other maids entered the kitchen and started preparing breakfast. They looked at Mila and me with curiosity, so I quickly smiled at Mila and stood up.

Not only that, Mila also let Cosmo get in her way by standing in front of her, she didn’t even flinch when she had to bump onto her, for her it wasn't a problem because she wouldn't hit the creature and she would walk right through her body very easily. And that fact annoyed Cosmo quite a bit, only, her annoyance wasn't worth the pleasure she was receiving right now, because now she looked so excited she couldn't put it into words. She was almost jumping up and down. Could you imagine, a creature that was so strong enough to make someone to kill each other, was jumping up and down because she was excited for the coronation that was not even hers. The violent surge of emotion sent me into another crisis that very night. My breathing grew shallow, my oxygen levels plummeted, and I was on the verge of needing a ventilator. Angela Reign, the head nurse who had cared for me since the beginning, stood by my side with reddened eyes as she administered the medication, gently patting my back to soothe me. "Chloe, hang in there. You have to hold on! Prof. Stenson has already succeeded, hasn't he? I saw the news yesterday—his new drug has made a miracle happen..."

“I thought I’d congratulate you properly.” Mila. She stepped out from the crowd. Stunning in a sleek black gown, every eye followed her. The woman they thought had vanished — now walking with the power of the storm behind her every step graceful and commanding. Her eyes locked on Lily. “You really went all out,” Mila said, her tone sweetly poisonous. “Cake, lights, lies… You should’ve hired better editors.” Alex’s face was a mask of furious confusion. “Mila?
